    I was at that game. 12 years old. Pontiac Silverdome. Everyone was amazed with O.J. ! Surreal. Everyone wanted to see him hit 200 yds. Then he went even further. Lions won in the end. Leaving the game, my father stated to my brother and I, you boys witnessed football history.

      I was there too. I was 16 my uncle had 3 season tickets he took me and my brother. OJ's stride was unbelievable to see in person.

    I remember watching this game when I was a kid in my O.J. simpson jersey, and I was and still am a big time cowboys fan. It didn't matter what team you liked everyone wanted to be O.J. back then.

    i live in Canada and every year when i was a kid i would pretend i was starting to get sick a couple of days before the American Thanksgiving so i could stay home on that day to watch football. remember this game too. i was watching hoping that OJ would get 100 yards....

    If I remember correctly, the Bills translated OJ's 273 yards into a grand total of two TD'S. How discouraging to be carrying your entire team on your shoulders' and get so little help, 27-14.

      Well he was that good so they can’t just completely erase him. I feel like they do let the other stuff affect how they rank him. He’s too high on these lists. Him and Barry sanders are the two greatest running backs of all time and they have OJ 37 and Sanders in the 20’s for all time best players. I don’t agree with either of those rankings.
