Cheers to 3000! I’m a budget collector myself and I think I mentioned this on another video but it’s great to finally see a gamer thrifter who is not a reseller. Love it. I had a recent snag the other day very specifically to celebrate your 3000th game… 😂 jks… but…for $50 CAD or about $40USD….I got 3 Lego DS games CIB (Lego Batman, Lego Star Wars complete saga, Lego Indiana jones) plus an Xbox 360 S with the kinect sensor, 2 controllers… all mint shape and 20 360 games (half were sports, the other half were decent).

I'm a little late, but I'm here. Let's Gooooooo Dabamaniacs. This is going to be a historic one for sure. Cannot wait to see what you will get as your 3000th one. That power ranger toy brought me back, I had so much of that growing up, even had the morphers. I also remember Superhuman Samurai Cyber Squad (if i remember the name correctly), Those were super cool toys as well. I mean Waifu prints are only as inappropriate as you deem it, who doesn't love Android 18 right, but I get it lol, family channel. I find when it comes to cons and flea markets the pricing seems for the most part on point with something like eBay, and that's fine, it's entirely up to someone what they charge, but if someone wants to pay ebay prices, wouldn't they just order from ebay? That being said it's nice to see vendors willing to haggle and work with you. Those DBZ movies are awesome. Wooooo, congrats on hitting 3k games, now onto 3k subs #Roadto3k . That Simpsons scene has been one of my favorite ones, the honest sarcasm (if that's a thing) in Homer's line is beautiful. It's awesome when you can not only add a cool game to the collection, but also have it strike the sentimental and nostalgic memories. I found Future Cop a couple of years ago for $1. Fun game from all I've seen, but sadly have yet to play it fully yet, def in the backlog of doom as I'm beginning to call it lol. This was a super fun episode, and another milestone for the collection checked off. Think my favorite thing(s) from this video would have to be Future Cop, Batman and Fairy Odd Parents. Bro, 3000 Games in the collection. Congrats Bro. I’ve never played Future Cop but from what I’ve seen of it, it looks like a really fun game. Batman Forever is not a good game from what I heard however the movie itself wasn’t great but certainly wasn’t horrible as it was ok although the Riddler was funny as hell. Also Another Sega Saturn game in the collection is always a good thing even if it’s a crappy common sports game. Either way Great Episode as always El Dabstroyero.
It might be cheating but suruga-ya ( the chain of 2nd hand/ thrift shops in Japan ) currently has a promo going on where they ship for free to the US. They also just dropped a bunch of janku deals. ( Janku is liquidated overstock bundled up and sold in cheap mystery lots. ) With those things combined, you can grab a bunch of mystery import games for PSX, PS2, XBOX, PSP, DS, etc for what will work out to $1.50-3 per game. It doesn't take the place of thrifting IRL but because they're mystery boxes of imports it could be a fun unboxing and trying to figure out what you got. I know I pulled a bunch of $20-30 titles out of the boxes I ordered and they are things you will probably never see locally. Either way, good luck on the next thousand.
that actually sounds really cool, I wasn’t aware of that store. Are the copies you’re getting North American region copies or Japanese copies of the games? I have a few Japanese games in my collection so far.
@@ElDabstroyero Everything on there is Japanese version unless labeled otherwise. That said, some systems are region-free, others can play imports either with an adapter or well-timed disc swap without modding, etc. and a fair number of Japanese games are multi-lingual releases. The entire catalog on their site is stocked with goods traded in to their 2nd hand shop locations across Japan. So far my experience has been mostly getting titles which were Japan-exclusive releases but I've only gotten a few because usually the shipping costs more than the budget games if they aren't doing a free shipping deal like they are now.
If grabbing games beyond the mystery lot, 2 budget titles worth checking out are: Power Pro Kun Pocket R ( Switch; CIB = $3.56. ) It's baseball theming is a pretext. The best game mode is tank warfare against slimes and robots. Jump Super Stars ( DS; Loose = $3.21/ CIB = $7.37 ) is a cool riff on Smash Bros where manga characters punch holes in the comic panels and try to throw each other off the page. The 2nd screen you arrange comic panels of other characters doing their special attacks which you can call in to assist for combos. Both Switch and DS are region free and while both games are Japanese, both can be played without speaking the language.

you’re the second person that has mentioned Xbox 360 prices increasing, but I haven’t noticed it so far, so it will be interesting to see what happens in the next year or so I guess with the pricing. But yeah, shocking not to find a 360 game on this hunt, that rarely ever happens!
@@ElDabstroyero that's what I was figuring, my Mom used to make them for us growing up, but her family's from Chicago so I figured that's how she was hip to them
Congrats of 3k games, Love the chanel but damn i would never spend a couple grand on shovel ware games even a 3 buck a piece could saved it and spent it on some quality rare games instead but to each their own i guess.
