There’s no video of him performing it BUT his song Fading Away is great and there’s a live version in Pamona of his song I Won’t Fall In Love Tonight that is giving me life right now. But really any of his original stuff is definitely worth a listen. Great reaction vid, BTW 🙏🏽

Alejandro has the ability to tap into his own pain and yet draw us all in and uplift us with his beautiful chords and melodies. He's an old soul and has drawn in people of all ages and from all over the world. I can't wait to see what he does next.

His lyrics, arrangements and voice definitely draw you into his story and you find yourself relating in a way that makes you feel joyful even if the lyrics are about pain and heartbreak-it’s kinda a crazy experience. I’ve seen lots of people comparing him to John Mayer and others getting so offended by that comparison because they say Mayer is far superior. Yes, John Mayer is a sublime musician BUT the way that Alejandro puts all his skills together and emotes-makes you feel the music-is what, for me, makes him a standout.

I think they share some common traits in terms of having such an incredible ear for music and way of writing that is very relatable for people. Mayer has some of the same anxiety issues that Alejandro has hinted at too, and someone like him could be a very good mentor for a young artist like AA as he tries to navigate sharing his music with a wider audience and still maintaining privacy and peace of mind.

His version of this song is the only one I’d ever heard before and then I finally listened to the original a few days ago. 😐 I’ll stick with Alejandro’s version. I just like it SO much better. Alejandro @scarypoolparty all day, every day.
I followed him through out the shows and his off camera work. I told my wife after the Hawaiian show, I think he will go all the way to top 5 at least. His singing was great but what I was impressed with his technical skills. I think he learned his skills with some of his friends, especially at the music store. I think he will go places but behind the glass in studio work. He , by far the most a total package of any of the other Idol contestants in the last 8 years. Their go back to home visit was so heartbreaking. He is a survivor, he has a close ring of friends I’m sure that believe he was the best, and I think they were truly correct. He can write amazing great music, he knows more than some music engineers. He is only 24, he will be able to go work with out any problems, and probably close to home. The only drawback I saw that did not help him was his shyness. I found out Monday morning that he’s afraid of flying. I feel for him, when they close that door and the plane starts rolling, they will try to get the plane to stop. Luckily he and Laine was on a private flight to get them to NY for GMA. He doesn’t have much exposure like Laine did. Laine has only one original song but has a fan base much larger. The only other issue I have is that they only took fan votes to move up in the show. Looks like they should have a 50/50 split with fans have 50% votes and the judges 25% and a 3 person group of experts in the music field. Now you can get a fair, more balanced field. Somebody is spending a lot of money to get the best talent over all. Thanks 🙏 for reading the whole impression of what I saw.
I have all of post Malone's music, I've heard that song a thousand times but when I heard it coming from Alejandro I believed it was one of his original song, the same for Cold plays Yellow. Alejandro did such an amazing job with Yellow that I went on to iTunes to buy it but they don't have the Alejandro cover. I didn't buy it because the original by cold play "themselves" didn't sound anything like Alejandros version. SORRY NOT SORRY
