When we were dating my husband would take me to a little Amish restaurant where they had juke boxes at each table. He would play Bryan Adams "Everthing I do I do it for you" and hold my hands singing the whole song to me. I have loved that song so much ever since. We have been together for 34 years! 😍
It's impossible to pick just one, I like them all. On our first date my now husband sang Joe Cocker's "You are so Beautiful" to me. We will be celebrating 41 years in June.
I actually have 2 songs.wind beeneath my wings--Bette Midler & 3 times a lady---Commodores. My husband has been gone almost 14 yrs but he use to both songs to me. I absolutely love everything you made. Thank you for sharing with us. Stay safe and have a great weekend. We love you❤️🙂
Loved the idea of the Date night box! We have been married for 48 and a half years, we still have date nights! The wreath was beautiful! Loved the adorable gum ball machine! Oh my goodness, cookies are amazing! Loved the yarn covered trees with hearts, so stinkin cute! Loved the two gorgeous rounds, with the hearts on the birch trees! The care is amazing, love it! I love all your fantastic ideas! You always have the greatest ideas!🥰🥰🥰
Hello. OMGoodness ! This whole video is Fabulous ! I've been wanting to make Mini Bunting (flag garland) & your Love Bug is Adorable w/it ! The Family Gathering is too. All the Hearts Crafts & Framed Ones are So Cute. I do a 2 Tiered Tray & Yes, these would be great for those. I need to get a putty knife. I am having a hard time separating certain glued on things off of the wooden & metal signs from D🌳T, w/out wrecking them ! I tried a butter knife, but no good. I got a Truck from Christmas w/the Tree on back. It needs to come off so I can Paint It & add Flowers & Heart Balloons to the back of the Truck. The pkgs. of the plain mini Wooden Hearts w/hang holes are great for all kinds of things & I'm working on Painting those to hang on my Valentine Tree, a Garland & some other Projects. I love the idea of painting over the letter stickers for stencils, I never would have thought of that, & would think they would be stuck on from the paint, but it came out very nice & I am going to try that. I do have a few Ink Pads & 6 Rubber Stamps- just a few Valentine Minis & 1 Hello Spring Gel one & 2 Alphabet sets in rubber (1 ea. of Capitals & Lower Case), & those are Teeny Tiny. I do not do any distressing, of any kind, but I do love the way they come out. I'm Ecclectic, but tend to go toward the Bright & Cheery, Florals, Polka Dots, Gingham, & Pinks more than Red, but I still include it, & minimal Glitter, but do like Sparkles, Gems & such here & there, Shabby Chic, Romantic/Girly, Ribbons,Tassles, Lace, Velvet, Tapestry, Country/French Farmhouse but w/out a lot of Grey, Checks, Plaids, B&W, Burlap & distressed items. I do incorporate some B&W, Grey & Burlap, just not a lot. I do White or Off White/Cream w/Colors & Prints. Do you ever do any decoupaging of Lg. Items: (Trays, Table Tops, Etc.)? I'd love to see more ideas on that if possible or could you recommend a Utube Crafter who does that? Thanks. I will be watching this one again & again. It is saved ! Thank You. Take Care & God Bless You.💖💘💋💌🌹💖💗❤️😃
The date night idea is so stinking cute, hard to find different things for the adults, other than flowers, which are nice but the date night container is perfect!!!! Great idea, that’s why I love your channel Courtney!!!!❤
Courtney I've just found you and absolutely love these DIYs! They are so simple and effective, easy for people to follow even if they aren't a huge crafter! I really love the argyle sweater wreath, a labour of love I know, but it was worth it!
God bless you and your family. Loved the thought put into these diys for your family letting them know u 34:51 love them. Married 42 years been with hubby 43 years so 43 years of valentines and still in love. 5 children and 4 grand babies so far. All diys I loved.
As always, I ❤all your creations! My favorite love song has got to be “You Needed Me” by Anne Murray. This song was played while I walked down the aisle on my wedding day almost 33 years ago.
Love the felt heart bouquet and the date night box. There are so many ideas I thought of: a scavenger hunt, an ice cream date, picnic in the park, date night in playing a board game with pizza, take Polaroid photos documenting the date (yes I still have an original Polaroid that works). I have so many Love songs that I love. "Ribbon In The Sky" by Stevie Wonder, "No Ordinary Love" and "By Your Side" by Sade and"Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel (one of my favorites). My Love sang this to me as we drove to the city on date with the radio on full blast holding hands. That song brings back so many good memories. He captured my heart then and now. We're going on 30 years together this October 🫶❤🤍💘💜🎶
Love the wreath you made with the bags with the hearts on them. Simple but looks great. Love the song “Fool is you think it’s over” by Chris Rea…before your time.
I'm so glad you're back. I missed you. These are such cute ideas for Valentine's Day. My favorite love song is "Beautiful in White." By Shane Filan. It's the song that I walked down the aisle to.
I love both the wreath and the love bug. I hope I can find the car in my local DT's, I think I already have the heart bags. Love your DIY's and the Mystery Boxes are a real hoot. Keep the good times coming!
Love your ideas. The mail letters made my valentines day decor take off last year. I did added Mickey and Minnie into my decor. I Found the cutest light up mail truck at Hobby Lobby this year to add to my tray.
Great diys, Courtney! I love them all, as always!❤ As always, thank you for sharing all of your hard work, creativity, talent, and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
Such a great assortment of Valentines! I am going to make the heart bouquet for each of my sisters, they will love them. My favorite love song is Simon & Garfunkel “Bridge Over Troubled Water” which my husband had played at our wedding as a surprise. Really enjoy those oldies!! Thank you for sharing all your great ideas. Have a wonderful 2024!
I haven’t done DIYs specific for anniversary, but the Date Night box would be a good start. I also bought this little book that had me fill in all the different ways I love him. I’m giving it to him for Valentine’s Day, but it could definitely work for an anniversary. amzn.to/3U0aAcW
Great projects, you gotta love getting to do holiday projects. Just a few things I wanted to say about the polymer clay ones you did. First I would recommend staying away from getting water in contact with the clay, it won't help the pieces to stick, in fact, the steam from the water evaporating could cause them to lift apart. Generally speaking raw clay will attach to raw clay with a bit of pressure. If you want a firmer bond or want to add cooked clay to raw use some liquid clay to attach the pieces. I don't remember if you mentioned it or not but if you use a baking surface (or anything else) with the clay don't ever use it for food again. And finally, be very careful what glues and finishes you use on the clay, not everything is polymer clay friendly.
I need to compliment you because you talk like a real person!!!!! Ugh…. I have to leave other channels because they are so fake sounding. 😮💨😮💨😮💨. Thank you for being human!!!!! 🙌. I’m your newest subscriber. 👍
Great job Courtney! You have heard bout Kelly Barlow of loosing her son. I could never imagine. I just thought to tell u incase u didnt know because I know u do mystery box challenge with her. Take care n stay warm.
I love your diy's BUT!... Pouring candles is not as easy as shown by so many diy'ers here or anywere... You have to make sure that the wick fits the diameter of the candle. Using the wicks shown here will cause tunneling of the poured candle in the cup... How come this is never ever mentioned in any diy video? Don't forget, pouring candles is a teached profession with a long history...
I didn’t have any issue with tunneling. The wick held steady by being secured. I keep it real on my channel and If you go back and watch this diy in the original video from last year, I documented and shared some wax spilling when I made that project. Since this is a comp and a repeat project, I cut down a lot of footage to be able to put several DIYs in my video and not making it 2 hours long. 😊 Here’s the original video from last year if you want to see my mess! 😆 ruclips.net/video/DGoRA9TcGKI/видео.htmlsi=LwG0-iLJKLeRe0kf

Have you ever done DIYs for anniversarys? My 30th is coming up and drawing a blank on what to make him.
I haven’t done DIYs specific for anniversary, but the Date Night box would be a good start. I also bought this little book that had me fill in all the different ways I love him. I’m giving it to him for Valentine’s Day, but it could definitely work for an anniversary.
