I don’t think his voice suits these type of beats, is voice works best on softer, more chill beats, that’s what made his older work so great, also the fact his voice was higher and just hit different
I think it does work on these type of beats because Trippie can fit into multiple pockets by manipulating his voice in so many ways and I was surprised by how much different he sounded on most songs on this album
@@Yunche17 ig it’s all subjective, but imo his voice is just too soft spoken if you know what i mean, it just doesn’t have that bass in it where it suits the instrumentals on this album. In comparison to where he raps on a more mellow beat, it just fits his tone and vocals better. Ik he’s trying new things and good for him but I think he’s in his zone when he sings or raps on less trap heavy more chill rap type beats
His voice goes on these kinda beats just fine. I think, just like how the dude above said, Trippies got the ability to fit into so many kinds of genres because how he can manipulate his voice. I think the features were the more disappointing part of this album. Still overall I think the album was good.
