I am sorry to contradict, but this is not true (race specifications). But the couple managed it in a perfect way to lead their dog to the baby, compliment.

@@BeniPressYou can contradict all you want, but there IS a reason golden retrievers are seen as the best family dogs, followed by labradors. (We aren’t talking about dogs being Nannies because everyone knows the best nanny dogs were Staffies for the longest of time)
Although yes, they did introduce the baby and did everything right (: goldens have the perfect temperament though when it comes to little kids.
Our four dogs are adopted and rescued strays and they are family dogs as any "race" is.

It always amazes me how dogs are able to recognize a baby as a human being.
I love how Lady started loving Olivia even before she was born. ❤❤❤
It´s not that unusual for dogs to be loving and protective of babies. My mother told me that her dog was all the time around me when I was a baby, even slept next to me. Old Wolfgang died when I was little so I have next to no memories about him, other than mothers stories. She said that not even close friends of the family or relatives could get to my crib without Old Wolfgang growling and barking at them.
The dog is just a parasite, and all this love u guys think the dog has is all in ur head. The dog just wants food, thts all. It sees ppl as resource for food. Btw many dogs sees babies as competition for food. They are playing a very dangerous game.

I went to visit my friend, who had 2 huge Rottweilers, when I was pregnant. I was so nervous of her dogs & then the female became obsessed with my pregnant belly. She would cry when they would call her away. A realised then how in tune & loving dogs can be.

Dogs are awesome with pregnant moms and new babies. We have 2 labs when I was pregnant and I couldn’t go anywhere in the house without them. They followed me everywhere, laid with me (even when I laid on the couch, they’d cram themselves up there with me haha), and once our daughter was born, they stayed with her.

Spend a lot of spoils to your pup!!! My golden was there when my kids were born too. He was so adorable, gentle & and a gnarly protector when he deemed it so.

I’m crying now. I love my dog so much. But this makes me cry because my aunt had two golden retrievers. But one passed away. And my cousins dog is very old and he’s blind and can’t walk good. And he’s gonna pass away soon to and it’s just so sad. 😭

That's truly beautiful, our golden was the best family dog ever. And she was so sweet and gentle when they were babies.
