Great video Hayden. Here in maribynong the drivers try that but the bins just fall down . Once a new driver hit 14 cars in his first two weeks because he was going so fast. They called him crash bandicoot. 😂😂
I bet you were very happy to catch up with this truck and see this driver behind the wheel haha Nice shots throughout mate, I loved the sunrise background in the brighter clips, one of those nice autumn mornings. I recognise all these streets too =P Makes such a difference when you can go in and up with the arm in one smooth motion like at 10:40 and 11:35, always satisfying to watch it happen.
i sure was, thanks mate yeah those shots ended up really good, i thought they would end up too bright for the camera but it turned out well. i love when that up and in happens, usually it locks at a certain point and it waits for the arm to fully go back in which i don’t really like, i know with alex’s truck he tried to get that arm lock thing removed, i know at first they didn’t do it for him but i think they have now.
@@SydWestGarboyea, it’s a sensor in the mechanics of the arm to make it so bins don’t tip too early causing rubbish, recycling or green waste to spill. I’m not a fan of it to be honest, I’d much rather watch them smoothly go up in one motion.
nice video mate , gotta take into consideration its a garbage body truck so naturally it will go faster especially picking up recycling as the arm is shorter
thanks mate, really? i thought they were all the same. this is a spare truck so maybe it has been bumped up a bit cause the arm itself does look really fast.
@SydWest Garbo nope , the taller the body the longer the arm to reach the top , When picking up garbage bins are heavier therefore lifter goes a tad slower as in this instance recycling bins are weighing 9kg if your lucky therefore the lifter is doing next to no extra work resulting in a quick lifter
Why does Fairfield start their runs at midnight? That's a bit to early to run noisy and skweaky Izusus like these. If they started at 5 in the morning they'll finish at 12. Much more reasonable timing.

it’s all for safety, fairfield is a lot of main road so that’s why they start so early
You guys start at midnight?
Can i use this video to share on my channel?
nah man
Great video keep up with the work I have to say he is faster them my driver 212
Where is the spill shield
they don’t have spill shields because they get in the way of the arm light so because they start at 12am it’s easier for the drivers
@@SydWestGarbo oh that’s crazy that they start at 12 am
