Gun is a classic, with an all star ensemble of voice actors and early modern yet arcadey open world gameplay that stimulates the neurons. Gun, Battlefield 1942, and Freelancer are staples of my childhood 'cause my dad was a PC gamer in the late 90's and early 00's. Never been happier to see this game get the recognition it deserves over the last few years.
As soon as i read Freelancer i experienced metaphysical reactions. As far as atmosphere goes that game has a seat with the gods. The plot the mystery, the feeling of something greater than you, this is what Mass Effected tried to do with the reapers The mod community is still alive with this one both for multiplayer and single player addons do NOT miss out on this gem if you never played this, dont do anything else just go get it 10/10 would wife Junko

Don't forget about the Bretonian ship dealer mentor, he was pretty great as well. Freelancer, excusing the small scale it actually had and any other flaws, is what Mass Effect SHOULD have been like. And it still has some of the best space combat I've ever played. Played through it multiple times, and I even owned the game in the 2000's. Never beat Starlancer, though. I only beat the Krasnaya mission once, with a Coyote fighter and a joystick in the 2010's.

This game on psp was iconic not only that but several developers also hired Hollywood celebrities to help them with this game which kinda rare since it's a psp title
It was actually on all the platforms not just PSP, I think what should be appreciated is that developers were actually willing to put some work in releasing some kind of port of their console games on to the Portables.
Your cracked out approach to the VO and editing is the closest that a whole new generation will get to experiencing some of these classics the way us older folks did when the shit was new (and we were like 12 years old). Brings a tear to my eye, thank you kind sir.

I remember playing this completely inverted cause I was too dumb as an 11 year old to turn it off and just got gud with it inverted.

Hot Damn Cowboy, I'm glad you covered this game, this gem and Red Dead Revolver were my childhood and tbh my choice of badass western experiences focused on being FUN VIDEO GAMES instead of realistic movies.
Gun Was a product of a different time, a time when studio's were willing to experiment and try things with budget titles, when Video stores would let you rent a game for a weekend and you didn't want a game with 20 hours of cinematics, just 12 hours of fun. And Gun was so god damn fun; the cast were very characterful, it hit all the tropes without coming across as crass, you had a lot of freedom with how you approached combat for the most part... the game was just so damn good.

Gun is awesome, fun and action packed as hell, but the RDR series has given me something that no other game has given. For me I like to live my fantasies in games, and the realistic gameplay of rdr has granted me that. Instead of an adrenaline simulator I wanted an world where I can make my own story and enjoy the games story as well, and RDR has delivered it. (But if I want to go total kahoots and be a total hollywood level action hero of West than Gun is the game)

The last boss really isnt hard, just use quickdraw to shoot the dynamite as soon as he tosses the sticks, you can cycle between individual targets using the movement keys
