@@BaumOutdoors Heceta is on the Oregon Coast. This looks rockier than any Oregon beach I've been to, so I'd guess it's WA (especially since no one else was there). Could be wrong, though!

Ok, I've probably watched thousands of hours of TV and RUclips of people cooking and I must say, that is the first time I've heard of a turtle burger! My wife and I laughed our rear ends off! Good video Mr. Baum!
Oceans cleanse the soul… they teach patience & perseverance, they give life… yet if you are fortunate to witness the oceans during storms, the same lessons can be learned but are harder to find… and for some there is loss of life… but for we Christians, we believe in New Life and so water becomes a symbol of what we believe … thanks for sharing,Kenny… your ocean venue was spectacular! Such a pretty area. Love the ocean! My hubby and I are heading to the Oregon coast next month for a 2 week stay in our favorite town. So excited. It’s been our favorite place for 35 yrs. Honeymooned there and go back every year if we can. Washington beaches are beautiful too. Thanks for taking us with you. Hi kenny, what a wonderful video at the beach. And all those beautiful rocks just laying out there. Could do some serious painting on some of them.😁 I don't know about that turtle burger though, it looked a little bit too real after it was cooked. Especially the feet. don't know if I could have eaten it. Lol Although I'm sure it was delicious. It was cute something different to try. Thought it was really cool that the owners or management had wood bundles to purchase for a campfire. Very convenient. The sunset was so gorgeous! Someone should have been sitting behind you as you were watching the sunset and painting your profile looking out into the ocean watching the sunset. That would have been a nice picture also. You're Painting came out very nice. Good job! Looking forward to the next adventure soon. Hope you and the family are having a nice weekend.

I don't get to the ocean that much either, but it is where I would like to be, 24/7. Never ever, nowhere else, have I ever felt the presence of God more than when I stand in front of the ocean. It humbles me, it gives me peace.

Kenny, this may be your finest hour. As an old retired person I happen to live very close to the beach on Long Island. I drive to the beach every morning. So this video I really enjoyed so much. The location you were at was so beautiful. Nothing like the smell salt sea air. We have beautiful beaches here, but that beach you were at was amazing. I loved the big tree driftwood logs on the beach. We don't have those here. That's one of the prettiest beaches I've seen. Next, that turtle burger was the most creative meal I've ever seen anyone come up with while camping. I'll bet you SLOW cooked that turtle burger. The coffee, the dessert just incredible. You finally got something on your trail cam. The crows and seagulls where we are they're always fighting each other in the air. It's interesting to watch. Your camp set up was perfect. Love that tent. Loved the painting. Thanks again for a great video. I'm in! God Bless.

Hi Kenny. I haven’t been to the ocean since I was about 30. I went with friends to gamble, but it was the first time I saw an ocean. It was overwhelming. It went on and on. I called my husband and told him how amazed I was. The turtle was a nice added touch. I’ll have to tell my 51 year old daughter about it. Maybe she can make us one. Only we’ll split it. As usual, you picked an awesome place to camp. The sunset was beautiful. Only God can make an awesome view like that. As I get older I really appreciate all the beauty there is in the world. Your kids and wife painted such lovely pictures on your son's 11th birthday camping trip so that makes your a very artistic family, it was so precious to see. Your son was so adorable with that excitement for his plaid hat. Totally a boy after my own heart! I live for plaid. Keep the videos coming, I'll always be a fan. I'd even pay you for a duck lamp just like the one your made, just as it is, no painting it necessary it's perfect. Maybe some acrylic coating to keep it durable, that's all you need really.

Your experiment with the kite reminds me of my barracks roommate when I was stationed at Ft Bliss TX when I served in the 3rd ACR there in the late 1980s. His name was Joe Hopkins, from SC, and he was into RC model airplanes. He'd build one then fly it in the area we used to use for PT near our barracks. Then he'd crash it, fix it and crash it again. I met him 3 weeks after I got there as he had been on TDY. The first time I met him he was brought home from a nightclub in a shopping cart!
He found some widget in our equipment shed at the motor pool tied some parachute cord to it and he and I would try to toss it onto the one story education building across the drill pad from our second story window. We never came close to getting it on it, but an hour before final formation people would see us "fishing," out the window. Then a few months before I last saw him in 1988, we made a miniature hot air balloon. He had a mylar balloon from his birthday the previous February and we figured we'd make a cup and burn some sort of fuel to have it rise from the drill pad. We fashioned a cup out of 1/2 a can of coke and attached it to the balloon. We experimented with floor wax, alcohol, and his stinky cologne he got the previous Christmas. The cologne worked best. So in that hour before final formation we launched the balloon and it got up to maybe 50 feet before it ran out of cologne. It floated back down and we launched it one other time before we had used up all the cologne.

I grew up in Humboldt Co. Ca. Beaches are rugged and the drift wood gets more impressive the farther north you are.
