Dear CEO of HamCorp, Consider centrifuging compressed air cells as source of nitrogen. It is one of the best renewable sources of nitrogen and it can be easy upgraded later on with centrifuge multiblock.
The Steam Squasher for compressed air is a great source of nitrogen, even in HV. Its just such a powerful machine, and very easy to build and power multiple.

I'd suggest getting into the habit of shuttering your pipes (shift R-click with a wrench) before they get too messy, as small amounts of fluids may "slosh" around otherwise. The max size you carved out for the Infusion Altar is the size that it checks for "stability" objects. The actual range on the Altar's reach for essentia jars and pedestals is about half the size. For aesthetics, you can use a ton of heads, crystals, and other stabiliser blocks, but if you want it to just work, then you can replace the floor with blocks of quicksilver.
