Road Glide has major issues. Did test ride last week and it shut completely down to where I had to be picked up by dealership. Get back and there was a lady bringing hers in to get "flashed" for same thing. Later get on RUclips and see more than a couple of other vids of people having same issue. After flash, people are reporting losing top speed of 124, down to 100. Buyers definitely beWARE.
@FullTankAdventures it is not letting me post link (something about being verified??). The best, and most in depth is by Off Week Garage. What he goes through is exactly what the lady customer explained to me what she was having done to hers. There are others tho. Just search 2024 Road Glide broke.
Awesome video! Many people used to actually think that the point of liquid cooling was to make the engine feel cooler to the rider. I have actually heard people say "this bike is liquid cooled, so why does the engine feel hot?" Lol Liquid cooling is supposed to keep the internals cool, to lessen the chance of fuel pre-detonation so manufacturers can run leaner and squeeze more power and reliability out of their engines without forcing people to use premium gas The air-cooled 1900cc Yamaha Raider from 2008 made almost as much power as a 2023 Harley 117, and didn't have any notable heat issues. The Suzuki M109r and Triumph Thunderbird Storm are both liquid cooled and many people consider those to be "cheap knock-offs". Why doesn't Harley keep a similar engine layout, but go full-liquid cooling so their engines can run cooler, make more power, and stay as reliable at that level of performance? Nope, they went VVT and offer stage 2 cams instead! Lots of bikes without VVT make more power just by utilizing true liquid cooling. I'm no expert, but i feel like HD just doesnt get it!!
Correct me if I am wrong, HD already recommends the use of premium fuel on thier motors. The second is that I agree, cooling would equal power, but, I think their hesitant to do so because you lose the "iconic" sound. Take that at face value, I am not saying it will or it wont but that feels like the sentiment that I have read and heard.
OC: I picked up my first Harley recently, a 22 RGS. They are vastly different than my Yamaha's and Honda's. Other than maybe a Goldwing, they are hard to beat chewing up miles 2up.
OC: tell harley to bring back the Topper! Lol I personally like the way the new street glide looks but i like the older road glide look better. The new fairing remonds me of a cartoon Master Chief helmet, in a bad way 🤷🏻♂️
OC: I could be a cruiser guy; rode both tourers and really enjoyed both; ultimately, the RG wins because of the lesser turbulence felt while riding at highway speeds.
I have a ‘22 road glide limited. I always like sport touring bikes like the Honda Vfr800 and concours 14, but after test riding these newer cruisers I was sold on the comfort and capability
I thought this was gonna be Chase! Not a huge fan of the soft bait and switch on the guy doing the ride. That being said, I do like the guy doing this one! Seems like he knows his stuff, I'd totally watch him on his own channel! I just wanted to see Chase on a Harley!
1. They did simplify their models. The base street glide was 22k in 2023 the base is now 26k. That is not lowering the price. 2. Android Auto works fine on my 21 Ultra this is HD not adding support. Love my HD but their sales pitch this year is utter bs.
Great video but they are expensive!!!!!! I'd rather buy a car, sorry. I love cruising and the versatility of my Honda NC 750X it doesn't excel in one particular area but does everything I need a bike to do very well.

I like how you remembered the correct name of the bikes today. :)

So now what was a usable screen is your gauges that were just fine above that previously. No CarPlay?
Yes! More Patty content!
Also, dang it's pretty out there! Is that Red Rock Canyon? I hope you got a chance to just look around and enjoy the scenery!

I'm more impressed, how that Ruroc looks so small on Pat. Mine looks like Rick Moranis' helmet in "Spaceballs"!

New road glide looks wonderful

It’s personal preferences, I think the street glide, more elegant, more coolest but in I think the road glide is better handling
What a fantastic review!
Definitely Road Glide!✌😎
Street glide. But the are better cruiser options than Harley.
TEAM ROAD GLIDE! 🤝🦈
I want a road glide first ride
In the works!
I would like to see the vid re fluid dynamics
Going up in base price from the original base price is not lowering the cost of entry.
Who's voice is this , What happened to Chase
I like the change up!
Patty has been part of the channel for a while.....he also introduced the video 😅.
if you watch the WBRG videos he's been there for a while.

Love the new American made Goldwings what took em so long

No way I’d be seen on that tractor
so the street glide sucks
What's with the hard blasphemous comment! Calm down.
