    Your Awesome Victor! I learn so much from your podcasts. I’m starting a new career as a car salesman with no previous sales experience. BTW. I’m also 1/2 Puerto Rican.     excellent video....the unfortunate truth about selling is that we live (in the USA) in a society where people don't feel the need to be honest with salespeople....it is simply a lot easier for a prospective customer to not return phone calls or reply to emails than it is to deal with the confrontation that inevitably occurs when push comes to shove and the customer doesn't move forward.

    Yeah, very true, Mr. Victor. That happens a lot to me as well. I generally prefer a week or two time duration to follow up the customer and then close the lead if he is not answering. But it's kinda frustrating at the same time. Anyway I am a salesman so I am the one who is in control not the customer.

    Hi Victor, I have been following a prospect for more than one year. He is a purchasing manager, I am in foreign trade business. During this one year, I sent many emails and called many times. He replied less than 6 times. This year, he asked his colleague to contact me. Samples sent and confirmed quotes sent. But suddenly this man resigned, he told me his company is very interested in my products . I go back to the purchasing manager again. I know he is busy, and he just don’t reply my email. And he only give me the phone number of the company. When I call, the operator always ask me to send email. The reason I called is because he doesn’t reply email. Really don’t know what to do. Spent one year to follow up, still no result, this is a large prospect, I don’t want to give up. Really hope you can give some ideas. Thank you very much.
