Hi Anna I bought my first house plant one month ago and now have 33 different varieties was researching my latest the nanouk and found your site after a month of seeing so many other peoples plant videos I'm blown away cuz you have so few views but you're so nice to watch and you sound beautiful your plants are beautiful your presence is beautiful on these videos thank you for what you do I appreciate the knowledge you share the RUclips gods saved The Best for last indeed
Thank YOU! 🤗 I appreciate your words a lot! I'm in love with plants since childhood and on this channel I try to share my experience with people to help them grow beautiful plants and not be discouraged, if a plant gets rotten. :) I'd very much appreciate it, if you subscribed and shared your experience, cause 33 is just a beginning :) Looking forward to your 100th plant! 🪴:)🌸
I ordered some and I love them so much, and they look amazing next to the inch plant. Now they have it at my local store. The one I ordered ended up getting just a couple stalks. They replaced it and that plant did the same. Now they are several feet long now and I’m very thankful for your advice and support!!! Always love watching your videos and that’s why I bought this plant!!! Now going to watch the other propagation videos you posted!!!
So nice of you! Thank you SO MUCH. And you inspire me to grow more ans make more videos 🌿
Such pretty plant
Great video. Thank you! Will try everything tomorrow and let you know!
Please do!
Hi Anna!!! Thanks for this! I have T. Lilac, T. Purple Heart and T. Zebrina. Thanks for this information! Coz I love them and i want them for accent on my green planters. Thanks Anna!!! ♥️
Hey Glen! Thanks for your very nice comment!🌸 Tradescantias are such beautiful plants. They are easy and fast growers, and they fit perfectly for making an accent on some colours. You are absolutely right. Recently, I got one with black leaves - it's a rare variety. A new video will come up soon. I need to show it! 🪴🪴🪴🌸 :)
I love tradescantias too! I currently have a tradescantia zebrina, tradescantia albiflora nanouk, callisia repens, and tradescantia spathacea.. my nanouk is due for a trim since it's growing flat lol
Hey Hannah, you have nice varieties. 🌸Is your spathacea black? I just got one Spathacea Roxxo, it's just black. So beautiful and again growing straight like Nanouk
Nice video bagong kaibigan nakita kita sa channel ni Rosey's Greenery . Thanks very nice video good luck. From Philippines
Hey Joe! Hi from Germany. :) Thanks for visiting my channel, hope you'll like the videos.
What's combination of the soil...please
@@hasanhouryansa8391 It's the "universal" (says on the package) potting mix and I add perlite to it
Very beautiful..thank you for the tips
My pleasure 😊Do you grow Tradescantias?
@@AnnasViolets actually..i bought one 2 mths ago (the one you have in this video)it was 3 small stems in a small pot..so one of them grew a little long..i cut it in half and propagated it in soil as you did in the video..i think it's going to work out..its growing very slowly now but it's not dead..i love to learn more about propagating plants..i think it's fun😊
@@mystiquerose620 Yes, you are absolutely right! Propagating and seeing how new tiny plants are growing is amazing. I think yours is growing slow for now, because it was growing roots first. As soon as it has enough well-established roots, it will grow really fast :) Then you'll propagate even more 🤩
I've got the blushing bride of tradescantia
I have the nanouk ,zebrina, zebrina pendula(violett hill), quadricolor, and blushing bride and callisia repends and fluminensis albovitata and pallida 😊
Hi Crochet Things. What a collection! I checked on google blushing bride - what an awesome variety! I have never seen it on sale in any greenhouse. I guess it's a pretty rare variety.
I have a Tradescantia albiflora too that's got a huge lean to one side, I'm planning to propagate to even it out but I'm so nervous!
Hey Sam, don't be nervous. Just cut the stem between the nodes, remove the bottom leaves that will be in the water or the soil so that they don't rot. The easiest is too put the cutting in water. Then you will see the roots. Or even if it starts to rot, you can always cut off the rotten part till the healthy tissue and put it again in the water. 🌸
Just cut it......
Did u make an update video on this nanouk propagation?
No, unfortunately, I don't have an update on this.
Hi Anna, please can l have your advice, the leaves on my Tradescantia Albiflora Nanouk have started to turn brown 🤷🏾♀️.I have moved it from the windowsill to the bathroom because the leaves was getting scored from the sun. Help!! I need to save my plant 😒
Hey Elaine. Do they turn brown and stay wet? If yes, then maybe it's from overwatering and the roots may be rotten. In this case maybe take the plant out and cut the rotten parts. If the leaves turn brown, but are also dry, most probably, it's from the sun
Propagating is easy, but how do i grow one thats leaves dont turn brown?
Good question. :) Here are all care tips: ruclips.net/video/_4g9GkViy_Q/видео.html
😘😘❤️😍
Thank you, Shaams ☘️☘️☘️
Your r using only perlite
Hey Lalith, I mix perlite to most of my plants and I even propagate purely in perlite
You covered leves when planting. They will rot. You may have problems. I have huge Jews and even one in a 20 gallon pot I have had 2 years VERY full. I have to cut back often. You can't bury the leaves.
You can’t propagate it for sale. It’s under patent. You can propagate for yourself.
You are absolutely right :)
