I have my girlfriend from Uganda working in Dubai. We cooked her local food and got some takeout from restaurants that serve Ugandan cuisine. I was impressed-I wasn't hungry for two days!
@EatingTheAfricanWay I understand now, bro 👍 I'll be in Kampala next year and you've given me some food items to try so I won't miss out next time 😉 Anyway have a blessed Christmas and a great new year.

I agree. We need to eat more boiled food and steer clear of fried foods by all means possible. That said, Ugandan food has far too many carbs (posho, rice, potatoes, yams, matooke, cassava, etc…). Current research encourages you to consume far less carbs and more protein (fish, beef, chicken, lamb, goat, peas, and beans) and vegetables. Therefore your plate should be 50% protein, 30% vegetables, and only 20% carbs. You only need one carb on your plate.
To be honest whenever I watch your videos I always feel like coming back in Uganda 🇺🇬 a blessed land with food and beauty
Home misses you...and that's a message....hahaha..
