When I was little I used to go camping with my dad a lot. One time when we were camping we came almost face to face with a group of wild turkeys who were outside our tent when we were coming out in the morning. Little kid me was terrified.

Benjamin Franklin suggested it since it was a "noble bird" that provided food to the original settlers. But he was outvoted, so we ended up with the Bald Eagle, a scavenger that looks like it is going to take your hand off if you look at it funny. Appropriate.

As an American, I can confirm that wild turkeys are bigger than domesticated ones, but the domesticated ones are fluffier. If you see those fluffy white ones with the red face and stuff, they're domesticated. The long grey ones are wild. also that guinea pig's name is Boris
Oh man if you guys think the wild turkey is weird, take a look at the ocellated turkey! Super funky. Or the Himalayan/Impeyan Monal; the most iridescent bird in the world! As I'm a bit of an animal nerd I'd LOVE to see you dip into the animal book for more animals in any challenge, not just tiny sketchbook! Maybe a two or three marker/colour challenge or pick two animals and swap their colours/patterns so you'd both get an animal to draw at the same time! I've been following you both for years and I'm just so delighted to get to see you again as I always seem to miss the livestreams.
also in response to the turkey size debacle: as someone who lives in New Hampshire, we have a ridiculous amount of turkeys and they're HUGE but really dumb

I had a total of 4 guinea pigs when I was 10-13 years old. We bought the first two, Oreo and Hershey, from the pet store. When Hershey passed away, we rescued Bob. Bob likely had diabetes and unfortunately passed away from that too soon. The next pig we rescued was a baby pig and I named him Murphy. He was so smol 🥰. I stopped taking good care of Oreo and Murphy when I was 13 and we gave them away to a family from church who had a lonely guinea pig whose buddy recently died. The interesting thing is several years later I went to the Emergency Room and the doctor taking care of me was the father of the family from church whom we gave the guinea pigs away to! My mom recognized his name, and he recognized ours. He said my piggies had a good life at their house. I love watching your channel because you guys are so happy and wholesome, and your love of guinea pigs reminds me of my guinea pigs that I had when I was 10-13. This comment could've been an essay for an English assignment or something, it's so long. I better have earned an A, lol.

Also bald eagles don't have vocal chords, they don't scream at all. They sound like giant squeaky toys.
