I was going to make a comment about how it’s not a v6 but I see a lot of people already did that so I made a comment about how I’m not going to make a comment on that.
I'm having a heck of a time trying to decide between this and a Range Rover Sport of the same year. I've gotten to drive both; the BMW is more agile, quicker, more interior room and much better electronics. Range Rover is the ultimate off road machine, is more exclusive and rides like a 4wd Rolls Royce. I'm probably going with the X5...
@@DrivenCompanion It happens; people can usually tell if it was just a slip of the tongue or if you're full of hot air. This particular gaffe was brutal though; BMW is practically synonymous with inline 6's in the automotive world...no blood, no foul
Mine was great when I bought it, but after 60,000 miles, it was an endless money pit. Stayed at mechanic all the time, and costs many thousands of dollars. All kinds of mechanical and electronics problems. The coolant leak could not be fixed, and they said to sell it now or I would be spending thousands more on a head gasket.
What are your thoughts? I am shopping right now and it seems it's not a good idea to buy one? Here is the car I am looking at. vancouver.craigslist.org/nvn/cto/d/north-island-2008-bmw-x5-30si/7142631142.html
No idea why people make a review of a vehicle and just don't know what the truth is. The BMW X5 si = NO AWD. Motor = Inline 6 3 liter typ N52B25 / BMW X5 xdrive 30i = AWD MOTOR = Inline 6 3 liter typ N52B30 . I never owned a BMW. But if you do your research online looking for an SUV and compare brands, you get the basic information just at your screen. People. If you make reviews of any kind, get the facts right. My 2 cents. BTW. If you are looking for a daily driver. The N52 engine is the most reliable engine - if you believe BMW engine gurus. That's what I am looking for. An SUV what does not give me headaches.
I wouldn't trust the opinion or knowledge of someone who thinks BMW made a V6. Reinforced by you not mentioning Range Rover when talking about luxury SUVs. Range Rover is where the ideal came from. Please try harder.
BMW never make v6 only inline 6 that I know of

thanks for that ;-)
Just came across your video. BMW uses in line 6 engine configuration not v6

X5 more reliable
Great detailed video, thank you!
Can tell he loves these
Cant take someone seriously when they don't even know what configuration engine it has.
Since when has BMW used V6 engines?
Sometimes its a habit to say V6 and once you're editing its too late to undo your words.

Maybe you should know your product if you're doing a detailed review. Not that hard to research nowadays.
What is the difference between X5 3.0si and X5 xDrive30i?
Xdrive30i has inline 6 engine with all wheel drive. 3.0si has a 3 liter inline 6 rear wheel drive.
Mines is a 4w
2007
3.0si
It looks so good for when it came out, the first Gen was ugly and even the 2019+ one is.
Inline 6
Nice job!
It's inline 6, not a V6. BMW doesn't make V6 engines for as long as I know.
I’ve heard 3.0 engine is the best engine for that vehicle
It's the most reliable engine. If you talk to "fan boys" they need horse power and V8 - with all the many issues and expenses! 😂
Was that the price $9000 on the sticker ??

Ya definitely not a v6.... haha
V8
@@nightmares8440 it’s not a v8 it’s an in-line 6 or v6 basically
its a great rid
It obly makes v8
No, the Ford Exploreer was responsible for the explosion of SUVs with unibodies especially the Eddie bower series.
globally it was the x5 undoubtedly
The x5 started the crossover wave. Even though this is more on the SUV side of things.
not v6 but L6

BMW never build a V6. It's a straight 6.

The people in the comments are slow asf
It’s most definitely a v6 in-line 6 same shii
I think you need to expand your vocabulary.
