Hi Beckett, I always love your reviews. You manage to throw in some entertainment while giving a really good sense of how the racquet plays. The 2025 Gravity Pro is on my list to try out now. BTW I really like your sweater ...
Great review, as always! One question since you mentioned Rublev playing with the Gravity Pro Auxetic 1.0. For pro stocks, does Head actually update the layup to reflect current tech changes? For instance, the Gravity Pro is TGT344.4. Do these all have the Graphene 360+ layup from when they were first released or are they updated even when the codes don’t change? In other words, is it even possible to get an Auxetic pro stock? Cheers.
I believe that Rublev uses the 360+ GPro. Zverev has swtched (as of Vienna) to the Aux 1.0 Gravity Tour 100. They do offer different layups which would be denoted after the decimal point. There's no consistency in terms of numbers and tech, like .4 isn't always 360+, as they can also denote different string patterns.
@ Thanks a lot! But it’s confusing, right? Because the Gravity Tour 100 is the TGT341.2 with the decimal denoting the string pattern. So it’s unclear what the code for the Auxetic 1.0 version would be? Presumably also TGT341.2? At least I’ve never seen any other code for this racket…keep up the amazing work!
Really nice insight, Beckett. I have GPro 1 and 2 and your comments all ring true. My only question: did you notice any change in (the huge) stability with the shift in balance point?
I think this video illustrates why your reviews are the gold standard. Really nicely done, and clearly explained. Overall scores: Racket review skills = 10. Fashion skills = 0.
Interesting. I recently switched to the Gravity Pro from my 2019 VcorePro 18x20 after having tested it for several hours. They play quite similarly but the Gravity is more comfortable. I had some issues with the Gravity just like you mention and I was going to add a little more weight to the handle/butt cap to push down the balance point and get the weight to 320gr. So they lowered the balance point to 31cm in the coming version. Damn, maybe I should’ve waited 2-3 months…
What are you talking about? Everyone here is 5.0 and adove, why we should make it easier to play? Don't make any sense. (IN CASE SOMEONE GET TRIGGERED THIS IS JK)
With gravity pro 2023 and 2021 I have to add 10g to buttcap to get to 31cm balance with head lynx tour 17. This bumps these racquets uo 350g plus. The new model may make it around 345-347 which is my ideal weight.
Can u compare it to to gravity tour 98 2025 or tell me which one should is better my next racket is gonna be any 1 of those two. And what string should I use I spin a lot and I need a equal mix of power and control
Yes I have the exact case like yours. Currently I use gravity MP 2023, I just cannot find confidence in my full swing. I can with pure aero, but not with my gravity MP. I think I will choose tour 98, but I am not sure if the Pro will be better for me.
Kay I’ll be this guy. How does the not-yet-released 98 Gravity Tour is going to fit in the updated Gravity line? I still don’t want to commit to replace my Aux1.0 GPro but my arm is screaming for something lighter. I’m really interested in the 98 but all the reviews either here or on TT can’t seem to find a common ground. With this new updated GPro in mind, do you think that the 98 GTour is more maneuverable? Because I think I’ll deciding between 98 and the updated GMp.
The new G98 is way more maneuverable but it's a completely different beast. TBH I don't think it should have been sold as a Gravity because the playability just isn't really in line with what we've come to expect from the Pro. I would rather use the 98 over the Pro every day of the week but that's because I see it as a VCORE 98 competitor, not a Blade competitor. If you want an easier GPro, I'd recommend waiting for the TFIGHT ISO in Jan
@@TennCom thats crazy! I was playing with the GPro and switched to Iso305, because i think it plays similar, but with better one hand backhand... the only concern about the iso305, for me, is the manuverability, i prefer the Gravity... that's why i am looking for the Gravity98 too... thanks for the advice!
Am I the only one who things this new paint job looks like a Babolat Pure Drive? Nice that it's glossy. About the racquet, the first edition without auxetic was the best one.
I've played with the 360+ GPro since it came out and love it. I'm wanting to swap to a similar shaped head, but smaller and lighter so it's easier to swing for fast full western strokes. Should I get the new Gravity 98 Tour, or should I get a £100 deal on a 2022 Boom Pro?
So how do you like that FlexPoint Prestige after all those years? I recently had my 1990s Wilson Pro Staff Classic 95 restrung and I am loving it! The classic way it plays immediately won me over again, over most of my newer racquets. How did you fare with a racquet you used back in the day?
@WaltKurtz68 still like the balance and feel of it but I gotta restring it looser and test it again. Right now it feels dramatically underpowered compared to my current setup
GPro was just too hefty and sluggish for me, so I went for the TGT at 327SW strung. But I felt it took away some of the magic as it was too anemic and underpowered at such low SW. Did they solve this, and if so how?!
Prestige 360+ Mid 93" is my favourite because it has a 65RA. I play my best tennis with that racquet. The higher RA + the very headlight balance + tiny headsize makes something special. It is not for everyone, you need an extreme eastern forehand for it to work.
First one here? Let's see if this beauty it's worth adding to my collection... currently testing Restring Sync and Wasabi Pro on 1st and 3rd gen Gravity Tours

so funny to see Jonas and Luca hit unedited from the opposite court in your last reviews . It looks so different as in a normally edited video.

It would be interesting to review the HEAD Gravity MP L with a suitable string for it, as the light versions are traditionally skipped.

Any idea when you will be able to get a new Ezone 100 for full review?

not as noticeable with the Pro

hi beckett, if add 2gram lead tape at 12 how much swingweight will be add? right now im using ezone 100L with leather grip. thankyou

as said by msalvs every gram at 12 is about 3sw
