This is exactly the information I've been looking for! I also contacted Record Power and they were very helpful, but seeing the adjustment in action was a huge help! 5 minutes later I had the adjustment made and my bandsaw is purring like a kitten. Thank you so much!!!
Thank you. I am facing the same issue. I will check in the morning to see if my bandsaw has the same style adjustment. We have a little time change differential so not tonight. I am in Oregon, USA. Bandsaws are so finicky but so useful.
Succes with your adjustment! I hope it also works for you. Probably the same principle is being used in the tensioning system of your bandsaw, but perhaps a little bit different how to adjust it. See for instance also EthAnswers (ruclips.net/video/luY9z3qKC6A/видео.html) making the same adjustment for a Rikon bandsaw. The Record Power Sabre 350 tensioning system looks very much like the one in his video. Yes indeed the bandsaw is very useful and one of the tools mostly used in the workshop.
