Full of righteous fury, but everything he said he's said before. While I'll watch the whole damn thing, approve and enjoy, the Andreas I prefer now is the one that is in a smaller room full of geeks and he gets down and dirty with the technical details, less bombastic and more relaxed.

It's a valuable message to revisit and of course I hope many people stumble onto this video and have a road to Damascus moment. There's also his Q&As on Ethereum, which I think are very important to try and begin to grasp, to understand little by little, the potential of that ecosystem.

No it is not money - but you have proven you have zero clues about what you are talking about. It is 'representative money', more by association with currency in use, which in turn is actually representative OF money. Unless you can prove that those bits and bytes have intrinsic value. I know you can't.

Great talk. The change will happen. As you've said before ... slowly, slowly, then all of a sudden. From my perspective, the reason the system is not changing is because the majority of people still believe that for a society to function, it needs an authority to make the decisions and rules. With that illusion comes the belief that if there weren't rulers telling us what to do, that there would be chaos. Of course, you and I know that decentralisation means quite the opposite of chaos because in decentralisation, people act according to their inner moral beliefs, not the agenda of some corrupt outer authority. It will happen. I know it will.

Powerful talk, but i'm radically skeptical that the banking cartels don't already understand this and have been working hard behind the scenes to co-opt crypto for themselves. These cartels will not go quietly if at all. While I would love to see P2P money win in the end I don't see it happening anytime in the near future if at all but i'm hoping my realism and pessimism will be shattered by its success.

Average citizens use debit, credit, wire transfers, venmo, etc.. already. That, in and of itself, is a ledger. The question is, how Savage will governments and banking cartels be in thwarting the progress of the little crypto entrepreneurs. The only way you can truly remain anonymous with money transactions is the old fashion way, get off the grid, go physical. barter systems, use physical gold and silver.

@k g anything is possible. some recommend owning physical gold, own your own land, home, your own businesses, diversify. Imagine the people who put all their eggs into 1 basket, the diehard bitcoin cult, or alt coin fanatacism. Nobody knows for sure what entity with be behind crypto, if and when it becomes fully legitimized by the IMF and world bank. At present, it's not safe to have full trust in crypto at such an early stage in the game.
Crypto-currencies are extremely vulnerable to speculation and fluctuation, those vulnerabilities translate immediately into disaster for those on the edge, who are going to be most sympathetic to this message. In both systems, the same economic class of individuals benefit in the same extreme ways. The pyramid remains intact when transferring the ill gotten gains of the previous system directly into the new, and so does the anger and resentment of those who are unable to participate. Divesting from the cartels is an extremely attractive idea but, even if the bottom half of wage earners took on that liability, they still wouldn't have the funds to move the needle. It would still be the wealthy and the moneyed interests who have direct influence over the system, with sheer purchasing power.

The real problem with money is its mathematical basis. If you know anything about geometrical progressions, then you know that they quickly run away to infinity! It only depends on how large and at what time it begins. If we allow everything to be accountable to this crazy mathematical formula for cash creation and distribution, then there is NO WAY to escape the haphazard side effects that are built in! Currency needs to be created to satisfy a need and not a debt! The concepts of profit and debt need to be erased from human consciousness!

Dear Andreas, (1) Thank you so much for your Eloquent way of describing the State of the affair with Strong Languages. Sadly we need strong language to be motivated to move. I need it. (2) We need to be much vocal about the Banking Cartel's impact on Asia as well. (Please educate the mass and the Asian people themselves.!!!) Most of vocal people like yourself give examples like Venezuela, Argentina, Cyprus and etc. and many listeners may say to themselves "But, I don't live there, and they've been that way," thinking that extreme examples are limited to those areas...while most of have become slaves to the system. (2-1) One example is the "1997 Asian Financial Crisis." I am from Korea, and I know how much everyone was impacted. All of sudden they downgrades the credit worthiness of Asian countries, and the money flow stalls. Everything stops and all major/minor enterprises would go under if it continues. IMF steps in as the shining savior. Foreign/Western entities pick up their stocks for pennies. (Please fact check if indeed and when: Rockefellers visited Samsung's founding family) After the crisis much of Korean stocks is owned by foreigners, and the Asian affairs are now in the hands of the Cartel in a greater degree. (2-2) Another example: Japan's public debt is over 10 trillion dollars. Majority (or many) of them work like slaves 60-100 hours/week breaking the backs just to pay the bills, and many of them commit suicide to exit slavery. Most other countries are getting there. So which is better? Having no work and no food in Venezuela or having just enough working to death in other countries? In a way, citizens of Venezuela and Argentina are lucky in the sense that they know the govt/elites are the problem. They will "vote" for a change with their lives. Not so with most Asians. Crypto-currencies are extremely vulnerable to speculation and fluctuation, those vulnerabilities translate immediately into disaster for those on the edge, who are going to be most sympathetic to this message. In both systems, the same economic class of individuals benefit in the same extreme ways. The pyramid remains intact when transferring the ill gotten gains of the previous system directly into the new, and so does the anger and resentment of those who are unable to participate. Divesting from the cartels is an extremely attractive idea but, even if the bottom half of wage earners took on that liability, they still wouldn't have the funds to move the needle. It would still be the wealthy and the moneyed interests who have direct influence over the system, with sheer purchasing power.

We voted in a referendum (actually 2, one initialized by ex-President and second initialized by Slavi's team) and the government refused to accept it even with 2.5 mil. "YES" of 3.5 million voted..

The real problem with money is its mathematical basis. If you know anything about geometrical progressions, then you know that they quickly run away to infinity! It only depends on how large and at what time it begins. If we allow everything to be accountable to this crazy mathematical formula for cash creation and distribution, then there is NO WAY to escape the haphazard side effects that are built in! Currency needs to be created to satisfy a need and not a debt! The concepts of profit and debt need to be erased from human consciousness!

(1) Thank you so much for your Eloquent way of describing the State of the affair with Strong Languages. Sadly we need strong language to be motivated to move. I need it.
(2) We need to be much vocal about the Banking Cartel's impact on Asia as well. (Please educate the mass and the Asian people themselves.!!!)
Most of vocal people like yourself give examples like Venezuela, Argentina, Cyprus and etc. and many listeners may say to themselves "But, I don't live there, and they've been that way," thinking that extreme examples are limited to those areas...while most of have become slaves to the system.
(2-1) One example is the "1997 Asian Financial Crisis." I am from Korea, and I know how much everyone was impacted.
All of sudden they downgrades the credit worthiness of Asian countries, and the money flow stalls. Everything stops and all major/minor enterprises would go under if it continues. IMF steps in as the shining savior. Foreign/Western entities pick up their stocks for pennies. (Please fact check if indeed and when: Rockefellers visited Samsung's founding family) After the crisis much of Korean stocks is owned by foreigners, and the Asian affairs are now in the hands of the Cartel in a greater degree.
(2-2) Another example: Japan's public debt is over 10 trillion dollars. Majority (or many) of them work like slaves 60-100 hours/week breaking the backs just to pay the bills, and many of them commit suicide to exit slavery. Most other countries are getting there. So which is better? Having no work and no food in Venezuela or having just enough working to death in other countries?
In a way, citizens of Venezuela and Argentina are lucky in the sense that they know the govt/elites are the problem. They will "vote" for a change with their lives. Not so with most Asians. Will they die like frogs in water slowly brought to boiling?
