My first ever anecdote with Imran Khan was on 9th Jan 1997 when he came in a chopper to address a huge gathering for his election campaign, every 1 ran towards the chopper but I cleverly climbed the stage and in the next few minutes I was standing right behind him. As a very young excited fan, I would clap whatever he would say, while clapping, my left hand oscillating back and forth touched his right shoulder twice or thrice, an enraged Imran Khan looked back at me with a dazzling glare in his eyes like a hawk and roared : "Who's pushing me?", I trembled & replied "It's not me sir, its somebody else" & Imran resumed his speech. Unforgettable moment in my life :)

The match which was referred by imran was one of the thrilling encounters between IND and PAK in which the 2 spinners abdul quadir and thafeeq ahemed bagged 5 wickets each there was complete silence through out the end of the game
