there is some discourse about them filming at a church, but most people are saying it’s a non issue, especially because this church has been used to film other mvs, and several movies, including some pretty violent ones
I have no feelings regarding it one way or another, because like I said, I personally am not religious. No doubt they would have has permission form the church to film their too
In the EASY MV, the part of the church is ‘Immanuel Presbyterian Church’ in California ! This church was used in multiple MV like Helena by My Chemical Romance, Tv show and movie like Amazing Spider-Man, Sister Act 2, Legally Blonde, John Wick, Charmed, Dynastie, X files… The church's sanctuary is used as a concert venue for performances ranging from liturgical dramas to artists such as Ray LaMontagne, Conor Oberst,Hozier, Jenny Lewis, and Echo & The Bunnymen.
32:48 Yes Eunchae has and had purple hair in the music video but Kazuha also had purple hair during the crazy snow set dance haha. It was Kazuha with the purple hair that was front center during that scene😅
Thanks for a fun video :D I feel like, with intros, if I feel like the intro was shoehorned in to make the album "long enough," then it's pointless. But if the album feels more complete when I listen to it with the intro, then I'm fine with it. Sometimes artists need a space to warm someone up for the album, or for something like "Good Bones" that's more like a spoken word piece than a song that just wouldn't have fit anywhere else. Something about "Easy" just feels so incredibly 80s to me. In a good way. Honestly, I'm not that much of a fan of the song bc it's just not my style of music, but there's parts of it I really love, and watching the MV was really fun. I feel really strongly about the song length debate tbh. "Swan Song" would have been my favorite on the album if not for its length. I'm sick and tired of songs under three minutes. I doubt the trend is going anywhere, so I try not to waste time being upset about it, but I would always rather listen to longer songs. Just personal taste. I'm not fluent in Korean, but I'm about 80% sure that the video for "Smart" had multiple translation mistakes. The live version of "We Got So Much" is definitely superior. I love it. I'm also pretty sure the line about flowers blooming inside each other is a reference to their fans. "FEARNOT" is pronounced like "pieona" in Korean, which the word for "to bloom." So you could read the line as, "Like flowers, we bloom inside each other," or, "Like flowers within each other, we're with you [FEARNOT]." Where in the world did you get the video with subs for "We Got So Much," though? I wish I had your sources lmao.
im agree with you about good bones. its giving 80's girl band. the church concert hall it has been set for movies, MV such MCR - Helena, etc. production team also got the permission to shoot there. for the song like repetitive punch it is better shorter. if not its gonna be out of nowhere. i actually love the length for songs, makes me listen again and again. this album overall is no skip album for me
The translation of the lyrics for smart were a little weird and inaccurate for the vid you picked but it still got the basic message so I guess that’s alright 💙

Yeah I've seen a movie scene about s*x at church, k*lling at church, i think just dancing at church not the worst

Ohhhh yeah sometimes it just a toss up. I always go look up other translations later! Thank you for pointing it out!
My thought exactly, how did they already know the fanchant???
The song came out just before the showcase, and they posted at weverse the chants of the album
ohhhhh they were quick! @@pablop.7234
