I agree with you; for some reason this one reminds me of KOF's 96 soundtrack since it sounds with such quality like if the OST was produced with the same passion and quality from that era compared to later entries such as KOF 2002. Art of Fighting 3 was such a delight too, seems the SNK Sound Team did their homework and watched all of Robert's Rodriguez movies from that time.

SNK made some incredible games in the early 2000s, but financially they were not doing that great then.

It's time to SNK make a NGBC 2 with more characters and more gameplay options. Can you figure out a sequence with more than 80 playable characters?
It won't fly...it's like you wish the game stayed 2D with hi-res sprites being the difference maker.
