Cyberatacks alone cost the US billions of dollars annually. Russia is threattening many neighbouring countries with war and conquest and it litteraly wants to destroy the US and become the dominant superpower. It delusionaly thought that it can invade a smaller country and use brute force to conquer its capital inbtheir days and declare Ukraine as new Russian territories. But they shat themselves and have been waging a loosing 3 year war whoch they have zero hopes of winning. Russias agresive rethoric has consolidated the democratic alliance, strenghtened and enlarged NATO and individual countries many of whom have bought hindreds of billions of dollars of equipment from the US and have strenghtened their own military production. Russia tries to slow down and sabotage aid to Ukraine and it tries to tear up the social fabric of our countries and alliances but it fails time and time again. Strengthening out allies and weakening our enemies is good for our alliance.

Trump technically didn’t help. Removing our troops from Syria and allowing Russia to win there, then setting a mandatory evacuation date from Afghanistan really screwed us and emboldened putin to expand this new thing in Ukraine. He also expects Trump to help him keep all the ukanian land.

Consider that the counteroffensive was reported to be a success and winning the war for Ukraine, and the appropriation bill for aid was reported to be the final blow to Russia as well. Instead, these final blows are making no difference, the Russians are still advancing
