leidenisthebest I personally don’t like Ran-D. His songs through most of the year are average at best. but he always wait to release that one good song at the end of the year for it to be considered one of the best that year, even though people will forget about it in 2-3 months. I really love his Gunz for Hire work though.

I think the source code of creation was also good but this one is so incredible.
To this day, still the best hardstyle production ever made. The sound design, the theme, the atmosphere and how well this fits to Qlimax... This is a complete package!

The fact is that I'm not, but if I was the only one, would it be wrong? No. It's okay to have an opinion that's different to others, especially if everyone has the same opinion.
It's nothing special in my opinion, it's just overrated, and the opera part is so god damn overused.

Finally a track that fits Qlimax. not that past tracks were bad, this just doesn't lack mysterious and dark elements and motions. in the end any hardstyle track is a masterpiece 🤗 this year will be legendary once again like the Qlimax we know it. Top notch best production of any festival as always!

As a Ran-D fan, i agree that the reawakening didn't feel like an anthem.
Each Qlimax anthem always represents the overal Hardstyle sound of that year, the fact that this anthem is the best one in almost a decade says enough about the Hardstyle sound of 2017.

I agree with 2017 been a massive year for this music scene so far. But to be honest, i absolutely dont like this psy kick trend at all. "The Project" was the first track i've heard with this style and it sounded "ok" for me. But most tracks including them are just ruined by it. Especially raw tracks, consisting of only screeches and anticlimaxes with psy kick. Sounds horrible in my opinion.
@SingleTurboSupra also agree with your point. The genre is finally moving away from separation into raw and euphoric back to great melodies and pumping hard kicks.

Can't believe so many people rate "next dimensional world" this low. After "power of the mind" and "next dimensional world" it went downhill fast. Maybe the new generation doesn't like the older hardstyle. (Can't believe I say older, because to me that's still the newer hardstyle. Not old like Pavo and Luna etc..)

Progress and evoliution will always happen no matter if we like it or not. We are not able to stop the future. Either try fighting it and live in the past or accept it and try to shape it. See i really like the old hardstyle aswell. Todays hardstyle sounds different. Its more complex and faster but still its the same music in its core.

3 years later, No newer Qlimax anthem can beat this anthem. Idk if "The Omega" counts as Qlimax anthem since it's the only song that has "Qlimax" voice on it from all The Source's songs, but still, you can't call The Omega as an Anthem
I personally think this anthem is a sign, that Qlimax has lost it's mysterious & dark essence, and the passing of Chris Corley solidify it. Qlimax will not be the same ever again.
