I always loved how Belle would always brush back her hair, nice touch animators.
I love the way she does that in the film. Belle is so cute :D
Helps a lot with coming across human.
One thing I always liked about Disney character animations is how they did use many of the voice actors facial features for their animated character.
And now they have ruined it with to much cgi

Clever touch with the fact that Paige O'Hara kept pushing her fringe away and then the Disney animators put some moments in the film where Belle moves her hair a little bit. I'm British by the way, so that's why I'm saying fringe and not bangs.

Older woman?! Excuse me? This is Paige O'Hara, unbelievable talented actress, Singer and painter. And she was still fairly young when recorded the movie. Emma Watson wished she had 5% of the caliber of talent Paige has.

Kyureme wow, so much hatred for someone who played the live action version. She’s a really good singer and a good person, and if you think she had a flat, tone deaf performance... I think you should watch Paige O’Hara’s 2011 version of “Belle”:)
It's not hatred, she really isn't good...if you don't have the ears you would maybe appreciate her singing but it's like comparing Emmy Rossum and Sierra Boggess, only one is a real singer with the capability to project all that emotion.

Road Work Ahead Voices age, you know. She’s never going to sound EXACTLY like Belle again, but you can still hear shadows of her old voice and the spirit of Belle is definitely there. Paige STILL knows how to bring that special magic to the character through tonal landscapes and inflections. Emma Watson’s version was VERY flat and clearly autotuned. She was not right for the role. The right actress would have been able to both sing and act.
And acting in musicals is very different than acting in your general movie. Emma wasn’t right for the singing or the acting.
But I’m assuming that you know nothing about voice acting or musical theater. If you did, there would be no questions asked regarding how bad Emma’s performance was. You’re clumped in with the masses who see their idol playing a certain role and fawn over their performance no matter how shoddy it is... The mindless, ignorant bandwagoning of “entertainers” who lack any real talent... except Emma is actually a great actress. This was just not a role she should have been given.

unpopular opinion: disney should stop casting mature women with rough-ish voices to voice young girls.
I was opposed to Emma Watson's Belle because of how young she looked until I looked more carefully into how Belle was animated - she is supposed to be a teenager, the voice of a mature singer messes with that.
The same goes for Elsa from Frozen - if she is an ice queen, 21 years old, and "cold never bothered her anyway" why does she sound like a 40 year old with chronic bronchitis?
Actually Belle was not a teenager girl,Paige has said in one of the fan conference,Disney Cast Belle as 21 years old not 16,so they want to find a more mature voices not Chicky voice
