Great video! ;) you really know how to do parkour in this game. I saw other videos and people just go around jumping over everything they see. Parkour is not about that, it's about going from a point A to a point B the fastest way you can, overcoming the obstacles that you encounter the fastest way as possible.
Still one of the best running animations in gaming history. He actually gets upright. Instead of the Watchdogs1, AC and million other games hunched forward legs wide apart "edgy videogame run".

Not sure if anyone has noticed but when two objects of the same height are fairly close to each other that are about hip height he sometimes does a half assed kong vault which is pretty awesome

The only thing missing was a way to combine tricks, right now if you vault on an object with a wall in the other side he will just start bugging out imagine if they made it so he’ll climb up the obstacle instead of vaulting over it then jumping to the wall, but Ubisoft chose to remove more then half of the parkour moves leaving us with only climbing vaulting and jumping and each of these moves only has 2 animations

I hope in GTA VI, they add the ability to do parkour and traverse the environment better. Kinda like in Zelda where you can climb everything and glide and slide and roll down hills sideways.
Yeah but GTA will forever be a Car/racing type game. You're in and out of a car every mission and racing every game. Supposedly the first GTA was a racing game that somebody accidentally got the character to glitch out of the car and run around then BAM history is written.

If they don't "reinvent" their open world in the next GTA VI (which they have to cause its their biggest franchise), then they might get left behind by other major devs. They have tasted GOTY, now they probably want to make sure each of their games comes out a GOTY contender. And one way to do that is to re-imagine open world traversal in their game.
