Raneh Falls Khajuraho Madhya Pradesh | Raneh falls Canyon

Raneh Falls in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh is a natural waterfall on the Ken River, It is about 20 kilometres away from Khajuraho. Raneh Falls is also called Mini Grand Canyon Of India. The road from Khajuraho to Raneh Falls is narrow but the road condition is good, it takes around half hour to reach. Raneh Falls is located inside Ken Gharial Sanctuary. There is a series of waterfalls in the canyon.The Ken river here runs through a narrow gorge of igneous rocks rich in Granite. After watching Raneh Falls the guide will show you the wildlife sanctuary. There is a canteen inside Ken Gharial Sanctuary. Raneh Falls is about 20 Kms from Khajuraho.
Entry Ticket for Ken Gharial Sanctuary (Raneh Falls) is for Car Rs 600, Three-wheeler Rs 400, Two-wheeler Rs 200, Walking Rs 50. Guide is compulsory with Rs 100 charge fixed.
Madhya Pradesh EcoTourism Development Board maintains cottages near Raneh Falls which is good option for accommodation. The link for booking is

We stayed at MINT BUNDELA RESORT - KHAJURAHO. Really nice resort to stay with family. There are many Budget and Mid range hotels available near Western Group Of Temples Khajuraho.
The best time to visit Raneh Falls is during Monsoon.
