I love Gura's Sassiness. I love how unique and different the cover is. Gura is such a sassy brat I love it. I am getting Gura and Calli vibes from the song. Gura has a cute side but inside she is chaotic, and I get the vibe that she will do something terrible
Her sassiness was on point hahaha. Gura had the cheek and Calli brought the badassery! What a fun cover to listen to
Their contrasting voices really made this a stellar duet.

@@velocityofcl Gura's voice was kept as clean as possible! Everyone knows that the expressiveness of her live voice beats a lot of polished studio voices.
Makes me imagine how much more lit this would be when they get their 3D models and perform this cover by then...
It actually wasn't live. Calli said that they sent their sides back and forth to play off of each other, and Gura actually surprised her with the "Yeah, fistbump!"
@@Claymore729 Well yeah this was a literal call-and-response duet. Their experience shows in how naturally the lines fit together, like a live duet with a backup track.
Gura always puts this happy little insanity into anything that she's really enjoying, so you can tell this turned into a fun project.
Hands down, the best King cover ever. Calli and Gura being the Kings for real. Thanks for the reaction guys

It was so unique! Gotta love how there are so many King covers that exist, yet Gura and Calli still owned their own version big time!
We've been conditioned to expect greatness from them, and they still found a way to go waaaay beyond that!
Calli opening with a rap from the very beginning set the tone, then Gura comes in with her trademark charm and it becomes a complete package!
I also love how Calli is holding Gura's crown in the art. That's an amazing little detail right there

I’d love to see you guys reacting to Aquas and Suiseis cover of “lion”. Suiseis part was prerecorded, but Aqua was singing live and her reaction to Suiseis voice is priceless!!! It’s still one of the best hololive covers IMO.

I feel like people missed but if you listen when Gura sings on her side you can sometimes hear two voices, that being her other half Gawr/Gore whilst singing with Gura on some moments which I love!

Risu's King is still my favorite but this is now my second favorite now cause of how unique it was, I loved how Gura says "Left side" then Calli says "Right side", Then they say opposite with Calli saying "Left Side" then Gura with "Right side", Love the way Calli does the rap part then says "Now next part" with her laugh, This cover was god like lol, Btw you guys matched Gura and Calli's colours with Blue and Red, Nice one
This really was so unique! They smashed it and the extra things they did to make this cover theirs, were so amazing. We like your description of how they did the chorus! And hahaha we definitely intended on matching their colours so we're glad you noticed! :D
This was probably the best pairing that could possibly have happened. Calli's vocal strength backed up by Gura's flair and ad-libbing is a combination that's going to be hard to beat going forward. Not even the slightly heavy hand of autotune had that much of an impact; I think we've seen the new high-water mark for King covers just set.
I was thinking a lot about why I'm so happy for this cover, and I realized that it's only because HoloEn can't do a Karaoke stream together that these collabs are blessed.
A couple of days ago I managed to get some friends to the rabbit hole and they are loving as much as me this cover, really really proud of calli and gura

Gura and Calli just killed all King covers until now. Calli is already producing crazy songs and Gura made her Reflect which was incredible and we get the two kings in 1 cover. There is no way someone can compete with this cover
Calli bringing in the sick lines that makes your jaw drop while Gura's kusogaki energy is overflowing in the background to keep you hooked in.
It's a terrifying combination I never thought I needed in my life.

Hands down, the awesomest KING cover ever. Gura and Calli gave the song their own spin, with the quirky singing and the rap, and at the very end you can tell they're having fun (especially Gura). Calli was right - THAT was sick. :)

It's nice that your headphones are good enough to pick up Gura haunting the background of the track. She's actually got experience with mixing herself in layers and doing self harmony or backup vocals. So when she's working with Calli who also has direct music production experience, they can have a lot of fun and put in a bunch of little details.
This was such a nice touch! Gura's extra additions throughout the song were so fun and it's so cool how she has experience in doing some of the mixing. This duo of Calli and Gura was so powerful!

I caught this right after I got home from work and could not stop smiling. They nailed this cover and really made it their own. It sounds like they were hanging out together and just decided to have a blast and throw together a king cover for the heck of it. Fantastic job on the art by Lam too!
