In terms of "auto" do you mean "audio"? If so, it doesn't sound any different but I'm also not an audiophile like some folks. It sounds as good as the music coming out of the regular audio imo I'm an android guy, so I am able to split my BT. I have phone calls through Sync, but everything else through the module.
@@krmotorsportskilleenyeah I totally meant audio and that's exactly what I wanted to know thanks for the quick response dude I just picked up one of these modules today
@@krmotorsportskilleen also does yours have a box attached. And where did you store it. I'm thinking I might stick it underneath the passenger dashboard or inside the glove box
I'm sorry I wish I could help you, I use android auto, my wife seldom drives the flex, but last time she used it, she didn't have any issues with carplay. I'd reach out to roadtop directly

How do you do screen mirror on android? What is the HDMI slot used for? software is very slow. How do you get out of "Car Play" without turning the car off? Can we download youtube app?
Mine didn't have the HDMI slot. Hold fast forward for about 3 seconds and it should go back to the Sync. As far as mirroring, I've personally have never used it
Some people said the auto quality was bad. What is your opinion on it?
Also is this Bluetooth jumping to your sync2 system?

is there a way to update the firmware? I don't see a direct connection to my Home Wifi?
I believe its done via USB. But I have not done it personally
can you control climate on touch screen through that?
Yes. You have to switch back in the software though. You can use the actual buttons as well
@@krmotorsportskilleen and how do you switch back to the stock interface?
@@darianmadriz3826 Easy. Hold the fast forward button for about 3 seconds. That's how you switch back between the two.
Can you let us know what unit/make you got to make it work? Thanks
There's a few different ones, but we sell this one. If memory serves it's about $300
Does the microphone and calls work with this update?
Calls are handled by the stock radio.
Will it work on a 2015 fusion?
I believe roadtop has a kit for the fusion.
