I never thought I would live in a country where a man receives an 8 month prison sentence for filming himself raping a child under 12 months old. 8 months. I am constantly amazed by the difference between Sky Australia (akin to what GBNews once, aspired to be; before its capture by the Globalist-Communists!) and Sky UK (which is identical to the BBC, and ITV: part of the legacy media). Don't give up hope....fight any way you can ever if it is small and don't be detered. Get connected to like minded people. Things are changing, the left/establisment is cracking. In 2016 a Trump SF GOP election party I was attended in San Francisco was attacked by antifa. We were several stories up and watched them attack a media truck on the street, cause they could not find us in the building. We left out the back. The SF GOP does not have any party offices or central quarters because of the threats. When we get together for events you now have to pay and register before you find out where it is and all events now have security. But the 2024 election here in SF voters are leaning more republican and the republican party is now a voting block that can tip elections their way. We may be small but we are having influence and can no longer be ignored. Something that was unthinkable here in San Francisco a few years ago. Stay strong and Godspeed.

If you can imagine it, in Canada, we have a government who decided that "news" is under the sole jurisdiction of corporate entities. I never thought I would live in a country where a man receives an 8 month prison sentence for filming himself raping a child under 12 months old. 8 months. Yet, a housewife can be imprisoned for a comment for 31 months.

I am reading the words of Neil Murphy who wrote the piece for the Mirror 7th August 2020. For clarity - I am not sure if he 'took part' in the video - so therefore my 'filming himself' was inaccurate, he was watching a film of someone else who had been filmed. (Presumably irrelevant to the infant in the film....) But, as he watched it, it is still classed as 'making it'. I simply cannot read anymore of the article. Scanning through it, it says he clicked on a link and avoided jail as he 'sought help'.
And in fact, he AVOIDED jail.......his costs were less than £2k.
I would appreciate if someone, anyone could tell me how this is acceptable - not even in the current climate of sending men, woman & child to prison for re-tweeting something they said 'in haste' that they then retracted (sought help for?!)....if someone could tell me how this is anyway acceptable - without saying 'ah, well, Joyce was under pressure....' or something along the lines of 'well, he didn't know what he was clicking on'..... I will even accept a lie - someone lie to me and tell me this is acceptable - because I cannot fathom it, I must be living in a different planet......

I am constantly amazed by the difference between Sky Australia (akin to what GBNews once, aspired to be; before its capture by the Globalist-Communists!) and Sky UK (which is identical to the BBC, and ITV: part of the legacy media). However, the tragedy for Douglas is that he continues to write for THE SPECTATOR; which is more akin to Sky UK, than to Sky Australia. As an American I offer my condolences to our friends in Britain who are dealing with this travesty. George Orwell is rolling in his grave. In our country there is the perennial debate about whether our 2nd Amendment to the Constitution is an anachronism, obsolete and unnecessary. Don't give up hope....fight any way you can ever if it is small and don't be detered. Get connected to like minded people. Things are changing, the left/establisment is cracking. In 2016 a Trump SF GOP election party I was attended in San Francisco was attacked by antifa. We were several stories up and watched them attack a media truck on the street, cause they could not find us in the building. We left out the back. The SF GOP does not have any party offices or central quarters because of the threats. When we get together for events you now have to pay and register before you find out where it is and all events now have security. But the 2024 election here in SF voters are leaning more republican and the republican party is now a voting block that can tip elections their way. We may be small but we are having influence and can no longer be ignored. Something that was unthinkable here in San Francisco a few years ago.

If you can imagine it, in Canada, we have a government who decided that "news" is under the sole jurisdiction of corporate entities.
