I have never heard a very wise woman straight honest objective answer to justice. Dr Basigye is the most arrested criminally charged Ugandan citizen even in the world. One thing, he is resilient
Where did Simon get his questions today. Did he wake up well? Government response? It’s the same state trying him. Martha Karua a game changer in the case. Very very disappointed!
Without the intervention of the international community, nothing shall change in my home country uganda....for long I thought Kiiza was playing games with Museven but today I feel Kiiza is real I fear for he's life while at luzira prison "the international community has to do samething these time ; Kiiza's release is not even enough ..there so many ugandans behind bars *there is nothing like justice in that country....!
Curious for how long this interviewer prepares for these interviews if he does any prep at all. It's even unlikely he ever invests time to benchmark on other interviewers at all viz Patrick Kamara, his own Charles Mwanguhya, BBC's Stephen Sucker, Fareed Zacharia on GPS on Sundays on CNN, Jeff K in Kenya, BBC' Zaiya Badaw, CNN's Christian Amanpour etc. All these years on air doing the same job every morning! This simply is beyond imagination. Honestly not on my list of must watch anymore. That ceased years long time ago. Naye kano I have had to look it up because have seen a lot of jazzing about it elsewhere on social media and said let me find the interview and go thru it myself
Besides the horrible sound, I can’t believe the production team of NBS TV sent out a “senior journalist” to ask the most ridiculous questions in such an interview about a man illegally arrested in a foreign country by agents of his home country. There were way far better questions to ask for an exclusive interview! From; Playing to the public gallery… To whether it is personal, To Besigye climaxing his political career by going to jail at 68 year. Did anyone go over how the interview will roll or the NBS have was near Kasangati and they decided to use the opportunity to get an interview from Eng. Winnie Byanyima. Very disappointed. Don’t get me wrong - she was patient with him until he started… Ofwono Opondo, is it personal and who wants to go to jail at 68? Then she dropped the bomb 💣- I don’t understand what kind of questions you are asking. Let be serious with our audience!!! Simon Nzala this isn’t TikTok please.
I'd have loved to watch the full interview, however, your production is really poor quality, you folks need to seriously and I mean damn seriously fix your production issues and that includes knowing whom to send to interview people. For instance, Simon really bored the interview by asking some useless questions, am not sure whether the questions he asks are thought through and discussed with the production team prior to the interview or, he simply asks what he likes!!! I've observed this in many interviews, so please NBS and Simon, do us some justice as well.
The journalist needed to prepare better for such interviews. What's happening to journalism these days? Has it anything to do with Kizza Besigye's age or the max of his political career? Then you bring in Ofwono Opondo whose position is well known. Please accept that the standard of journalism has been much compromised. Recently I saw one journalist interviewing Salam Musumba and calling it a Besigye Ping-pong. Ping-pong according to him, because the struggle has taken over twenty years without a change. What a shame!!
I find it hard to decipher the depth of cognitive dissonance in Simon's questioning. Uses distasteful wording, out of context approaches. I sometimes wonder how he ended up where he is.
Kagwanjala, your questioning is for socialites, not ivy league status. Surely you can do better. Come on. Use a little bit of intellect in your interviews. NBS kindly do better next time.
Very irritating journalist! He must have been being used by the rogue ruling regime to ask such stupid question. He's the wife to Besigye, atleast be fair to her.
Besigye is a hero he's the best politician in uganda

Kindly NBS rectify your systems

Kaggwa needs to go back to journalist school. I think he missed some classes
Next time let the interviewer be more prepared to avoid such embarrassments.

He's sick

Kaggwa's questions were unrealistic and biased. Some questions were out of context.
Kagwa njala you hsve to meet the standards please

Bravo 👌🏿
sound is bad
It's absurd
Whoever was behind the recording did a poor job unless it was not intended for the viewers.
Those are NBS tricks
Simon seemed not the right one for that interview
The interviewer is boring and doesn't ask relevant questions he just wasted time for Madam Besigye
Kagwanjala, your questioning is for socialites, not ivy league status. Surely you can do better. Come on. Use a little bit of intellect in your interviews. NBS kindly do better next time.
Why are you gay? That's what Njala can ask
