I used to work with the fading technique that he's using, but I realized that this technique is making things unnecesseraly difficult. Now I just start fading from the bottom to the top. Easier and more room to notice any imperfections. Ps. Don't make circles with the foilshaver smh

Too many steps used to do this fade alot simple way to do it to achieve the same if not better end product, but that just my opinion

The fade needs work. Try contouring the bald line to the clients head , also try using the taper blade on the magic clips to go from the bald line to a 1

No he means go straight in with balding clipper then foils instead of zero, trimmer and foils

I’ve tried at least 10 barbers in my area and not a single one uses any of these techniques to texturize :(. If I ask for texture they just grab a really coarse thinning shear and make a few cuts. They’re real good with the straight razor but lack the training and skill for the hair....my search continues.
It’s not due to lack of skill or training. I don’t use any of those techniques for texturizing. Not because I don’t know how, but I just find it unnecessary. If I do, it’s just to show how “skilled” I am to the customer.
WillyiamLy I’ll take any physical method to get a textured cut haha, I just want them to make it happen :p
