So glad to hear this. This video is now 5 years old, but still very true to the app. You can email me directly from the settings menu if you have any questions. Thanks for trying it out!
Finally, someone who gives a demo with no screeching music in the background. And not trying to act so cool and hip. And no mumbling voice, or talking endlessly. Must be his semi-advanced age. Good job! QUESTION... Will the app sync between my I-Mac, I-Phone and I-Pad?
Alex, MySongbook can sync between devices via an Export, email, Import process. I have sent you an email with more information. For others, please see the video on this support page: mysongbookapp.com/export-import-backup/ Yep, I just realized that I shot this video well over 3 years ago‼️ This puts me 👴🏼 well over... 30 years old 😉, and another birthday 🎉 coming in a few weeks. Perhaps throwing in some random 😳 🔥🎵 will help. What do you think?
MySongbook app allows sharing songs across devices via a fairly easy email export import. iCloud sharing is not set up. It does not do audio recording, but can play backing tracks for your songs from you iTunes library. How this helps. Email me at support@mysongbookapp.com if you'd like a copy to try out.
You must be thinking of a different app. My app MySongbook only has the initial purchase cost. There are no In-App purchases or other options to spend money.
I just bought this app but there are no songs in it and I can’t find anyway to search/add songs. Please don’t tell me I have to manually enter every song I want. What am I missing?
Musician - I know that many people would like me to offer a direct search and load type of functionality. Although I have considered that for years, there are copyright issues so I just keep pushing that feature down the road. If you have an existing library of songs you want to import, then the import will depend on what format those songs are in. Plain text can be easily handled. "Chord Pro" like format will need minor updates, but will unlock lots of cool features in the app like handling chord updates for key transpositions and and capo usage. If you have PDFs or images, then it will require some retyping. If you want to load something from the Internet like from Chordie.com, you can see some of my other videos on that. Once you understand the process, it actually is pretty quick. I think my videos are still pretty relevant even if a bit dated. Check them out at mysongbookapp.com. You can also email me at support@mysongbookapp.com and I'm glad to help. Best - Eric
Victor yes, MySongbook is built to work with BlueTooth page turners devices. MIDI-based page turners, which are less prevalent, do not work. Two more popular brands of the BlueTooth devices are AirTurn and PageFlip.
I have this. I need tech support with it as my stomp bluetooth page turner stopped working. The ipad says its connected. I do not know if it's the stomp or the app. I went to your website but there is no contact us page.
I do have About/Contact on the top menu: mysongbookapp.com/about-contact/. Also, within the app, you can look under Settings → Help and Feedback → Feedback and Email. You can just email me at support@mysongbookapp.com. The Blue Tooth page-turners work as external keyboards. My guess would be that the device settings are out of sync with the settings in the App: Settings → Foot Pedals → AirTurn, PageFlip, Other.
@@mysongbookapp Thanks for the Reply. I think I isolated the issue to the stomp and have returned it. Once I get the replacement unitI will contact you if I still need help.

@@mysongbookapp thank you for your reply. I have been an On Song user for years but their new business model doesn’t suit me, t seems like a money grab, so I’m looking for alternatives. I have already downloaded your app but thanks for the kind offer! I will give it a try but fast and easy importing from the internet is important for me, that’s one thing that On Song does very well. I’m also looking at an app called Songbook that allows easy importing of songs. That being said, I will certainly give your app a decent try :)

OK, Cool. I bought the newest version and imported tunes successfully from another computer:). QUESTION: Is there a way to set the screen to dark mode, where the music/chords are in white and the page is black? I should be good from here on out:). Thanx again!!
@@roboharagraff860 Yes, MySongbook has a dark mode. It was built-in before iOS had dark mode, so you need to set it specifically in the App. You will find it in Setting -> General -> Low-light Mode. I have a few videos that may be of interest on my support site: mysongbookapp.com
Jacqui - That would be a cool feature. I do have several apps that make sounds and had hoped to do more integration between them. Just has not been a top priority. I've updated my feature list with your comment. Thanks for sharing! - Eric
Can you import a document from, in my case Open Office, to mysongbook? So I don’t have to rewrite all my songs again. It’s lyrics and chords the same as in the app
Jan - Importing from different sources often has its own challenges. Review the video on this support page mysongbookapp.com/using-echords-com/ should give you some feel for the required format. I'd need to understand more about your current format to give a more specific answer. If you'd like to give MySongbook a try or have a more detailed discussion about your specific case just email me at support@mysongbookapp.com. Thanks! Eric
