Although I'm sure some people say things like "Winter is here." or "I want to build a snowman," I think you should give example sentences like "Damn it! My car won't start!" or "I'm freezing my ass off!" or "I'll be so glad when this sh** is over. I'm going back inside." Those have to be more realistic.
that reminds me of a story told by Czech talkshow host Jan Kraus. In his show, he read an imaginary "Diary of Hopeful Kysuce-man" ("Denník nádejného Kysučana", Kysuce is one of the most mountainous and coldest regions in Slovakia, located at the border with Poland and Czechia). It's basically a made up story about a guy who moved from the city of Nitra in the south to the region of Kysuce before the winter started. He was looking forward to the romantic snowy mountains, Christmas-ish atmosphere and overall winter wonderland, only to end up totally pissed off because there was so much snow that he couldn't even get from his new house. It ended like "F it, I'm moving back to Nitra!" 😂
2:41 "Ideme na lyžovačku" should be rather translated as "We are going skiing", while "Let's go skiing" is more like a command, therefore it should translate to "Poďme na lyžovačku" or "Poďme (sa) lyžovať".
Ďakujem ☃️🎄🌟
Dakujem 👏
