Some years ago I had some swage blocks cast, and I admit to being very impressed at the skill of the foundrymen. I had a go, under their supervision, using my own pattern and I found that - as with so many things - much practice and experience really are the best recipe for successful casting...🙂
well presented ...fantastic break test on the cast iron...I could tell you were trying to swing the hammer really slowly lol
