  • I found this incredible place on Airbnb!
During my short vacation in Sapporo I decided to stay in an Airbnb. Once again, it has not let me down.
Being able to have your own apartment including kitchen, washing machine etc. is just fantastic. All for an affordable price.
This time I was greeted by a very kind host who not only gave me some Japanese souvenirs and a bunch of food for breakfast but he also insisted on buying me even more food for dinner.
I gotta say, I like Airbnb more and more. It’s not really the right choice if you want to stay somewhere for just one night but for a week it is perfect.

It's a pretty big apartment for a single person by Japanese standards. I just thought about all the travel time going to Switzerland and then back to Japan. How long is it? 12-20 hours? What do you do in all that time? I can't even stay in a single place past 2 hours, let alone more than that.

Yeah, it is a 12 hour flight. Really sucks haha, god I hate long flights. But then again, long flights get you to amazing places so that's why it's worth it. What do I do? Watch movies on a tiny screen ^^ I hope they have a new selection when I fly back. I wish I could sleep on planes...
When we flew to Japan, there was one guy who had the middle isle to himself. The guy was asleep for all 12 hours except for when there was food. Must be nice hahaha.

I must be laying down, I can't sleep any other way. This means I can't sleep on any transport system. My mom and my older brother can fall asleep everywhere, no matter is they're seated, reclined, or even standing (yes; standing). LOL
