My uncle and I had the same take, we were talking about how the game wasn't very exciting or flashy. Georgia doesn't care about that. They grind teams into submission which isn't always indicative of the score.

@@tyriantaylor711yep definitely a close game 10-3 thats the game JT Daniels tried to play hurt and GA was very fortunate to have a dominant defense that held Clemson to just 2 total rushing yards.
Since Nate Frazier arrived in July, we've repeatedly heard that he's our explosive RB.

The younger fans of UGA really inspire me and I love them. I just wish that they could remember the 41 years and be a little humble. We have been told many years just how ridiculous good is, to never make it into the SEC championship game. Just be positive, polite, and patient and if we make it past Bama, Texas and Ole Miss. One thing that I don’t think a lot of people may have noticed but GA has at multiple offensive tackles that are first string type players. Monroe Freeling who’s a 6-7 320 lb sophomore that didn’t get a lot of snaps last season, played both left and right tackle positions during the game Saturday, being able to rotate tackles at will against that stout Clemson defense helped wear down them down and GA has recruited 7 offensive linemen in the 2024 class linemen that average 6-7 340, that offense line will be even bigger and better next season.

@@jwiese100 I think Georgia and Alabama are the cream of the crop in the SEC this year. But I did make one mistake. We may have to beat them three times this year. Even though Saban is gone, Alabama is still Alabama.

@@jwiese100 I'm a big Georgia fan and the only time that I pay much attention to Alabama is when we play then 63-0. Was just them showing off for the home crowd .Dang, with Georgia schedule. This year. there's no guarantee Georgia is going to be in Atlanta come December or in the playoffs.

Did Clemson defense play great in the first half, or Bobo decided to spread them out and start throwing downfield and running the ball out wide. Totally different play calling from the first half to the second half.
I think it was a little bit of both. Plus I think there was a little bit of first game jitters that both teams had, but once they settled in and Georgia saw what Clemson was trying to do, I think Kirby does what he does best and that is make adjustments.
Both, georgia played to not make mistakes and feel the game out because they knew clemson couldn't score. They didn't really take chances in the 2nd half either. Clemson just couldn't keep up for 60 mins. I've watchedbthe same thing happen so many times under kirby smart. Ask Kentucky, it's happened to them a few times
Bobo was being a little too conservative in the first half. I was telling him, through the TV screen, to cut Carson Beck Loose already. He finally did that in the second half.
With a huge defensive front like Clemson has, you need to use the passing game to open up the run, and not the other way around. Clemson's defensive front looked huge. And they were either high 4-star or 5-star recruits.
Clemson does a have a very good defense, their offense is pathetic , so defenses naturally tired out and give up when they offense isn't producing anything and the other team starts scoring, if Clemson had a decent offense, the game at least is competitive

I knew the game would go this way. Clemson has nothing on offense that scares Georgia so you know Kirby was going to start out conservative on offense because Clemson does have a talented defense.

Similar argument could be made for last year when Bama beat Georgia. But maybe Bama only beat Georgia bc of the injuries to Mims, McConkey, and Bowers. And if not for the miracle on 4th &31 against Auburn Bama wouldn’t have made the playoffs any way.

I wouldn’t say easily the best Clemson is vastly overrated and Georgia has cracks they haven’t had recently. Teams will give them fits this year it won’t be easy for them.
