    How could anyone give this a thumbs down? I totally come back to this track to practice singing and playing lead. Old school vibe and great dynamics and interplay. Thank you for what you do! Hands down the best old school jam tracks are on this channel!

    I've finally found a back track without the UGLY "D & C" in the turn over ! Way more cool like you did with the A minor....thanks

    Anyone know what mode works best over this? Thanks

    • @Crunkboy415
      @Crunkboy415 2 года назад +1

      I don't think you need to use more than G pentatonic blues, either major or minor is fine, or you can also use C minor pentatonic and D minor pentatonic for the IV and V changes. You don't really have to overcomplicate by using modes.

      @@Crunkboy415 Yeah, it just seems more of a 'jazz' feel.

      Add the 6 and 9 chord tones to each chord. Helps give some outside notes

      Isn't it always the same in a 12 bar blues in G?
      I, I, I, I
      IV, IV, I, I
      V, IV, I, I

    • @gabrielm.4554
      @gabrielm.4554 3 года назад +1

      Major VI chord for the 1, the IV and V are the same shape with a flat 9 (making them root 1 )

    • @PutItAway101
      @PutItAway101 2 года назад

      @@gabrielm.4554 I've got no idea what you're trying to say there. There is no "Major VI" in this progression, none of these chords has a flat 9, the only thing you say that I can decode to reality is "route 1" probably means "root 1"

    nice but too much of the same thing over and over
