I've used similar when describing citrus intake pre collagen supplement, describing a repair man arriving at an appartment block and either having difficulty locating his destination or having the porter direct him straight to where he needs to go, like citrus guides the collagen to where the body wants it. Such visualisations really help translate from geekspeak to layman's terms. Thanks again. Have a great week. Kind respects 🙏

    Thanks for the video. I was under the impression that calcium in the plaques played a role in stabilizing them that would otherwise be prone to rupture.

    • @sanctuarylifestyleclinic3523
      @sanctuarylifestyleclinic3523  2 года назад

      I think this is a matter of debate. You are best not to have any plaque of course. It is quite possible that calcium can play a supportive role to stabilising plaque, but it is a marker for the fact you are developing plaque - which ideally you have none in your arteries. A CT Calcium score can be arranged by your doctor to look at this further if you are at risk of Coronary Artery disease - check with them for more info.

Before this I was a 28 year old healthy male taking no meds at all and just had mild high blood pressure 130s/high 70s to low 80s diastolic. ER doctor thinks the k2 I was supplementing with caused the blood clot since it promotes blood clotting. Was taking 360 micrograms of k2 for 2 days then lowered to 270 micrograms for the next 7 days before I was diagnosed with a blood clot

      I doubt this is the case, and I'm sorry to hear that you got a clot, but I guess its not impossible as each person may have a genetic varience in how they handle various nutrients including K2. Hope you have recovered, and in the future if using K2, I would suggest a lower dose 180mcg daily.

    Hi ..... I was having chest pains and nerve pain since 2 months.... Went to a ton of doctors but they said I was fine and my heart was fine and diagnosed me with whatever mental disorders they knew like anxiety, depression, psychosomatic disorder, fibromyalgia PTSD and what not ..... Finally I did my research and found out about people who had the same symptoms as mine... And they had vit d deficiency... So I got my levels checked ... And the are horrible low at 12.... So I went to the Dr and she prescribed a multi vitamin (to be taken once daily) and a d3 tab (to be taken one a week) , my chest pain and tingling sensations have almost vanished.... But I'm having lump in the throat sensation since a week without a break and sometimes I have breathing issues... Can this lump in my throat sensation be caused by d3 deficiency!? I'm literally loosing hope everyday.. please reply

    Are eggs a good source of Vitamin K2? I was taking the supplement that contains the soy natto and experienced severe stomach issues. I'm prone to Osteoporosis given that my mother had it and suffered with it. I would like to know if there is another alternative?

    • @benphartine
      @benphartine 2 года назад

      Check Dr. Google, I saw eggs provide a small amount of k2 as Mk4 but no Mk7. Liver would be a better option. Remember the numbers you see on charts are nearly always based on 100g portions or roughly the volume of 2 med eggs. I started making my own Natto and I freeze it in ice cube trays. I try to eat a portion or two every day by adding it to other food. If Soy is the problem you can make it with black beans but the amount of K2 will be slightly less.
      When you are done with that, take a look at the oxidative, inflammatory, and just down fight toxic nature of vegetable oils, which has helped me more than anything else. Look up Tucker Goodrich, Dr Dr Mark Hyman, Dr Chris Masterjohn or Dr. Chris Knobbe on youtube. I recommend Goodrich first. You can buy Vitamin D3 with K2 as Mk7 on Amazon. Buy the 5000iu, we are going into the winter and 70 percent of the people in the US are already deficient in Vit-D. Vitamins K2, D3 and A all work together. I hope this helped. Keep studying and those doctors are a good place to start they cover more topics than K2.

      @sanctuarylifestyleclinic3523  2 года назад

      Dear Deborah, this is something to discuss with your Doctor. It is very difficult to get toxic VitD levels from food or even sunlight. The most common cause is over zealous supplementation. You should cease any VitD supplements. I doubt that your diet has much to do with your current levels. High VitD will potentially cause high blood calcium which can be quite dangerous, so it is important the cause of your high VitD is investigated. You should be referred to an Endocrinologist if your Family Dr is unable to help you, to look for rare causes such as tumours secreting Vitamin D. Best wishes

My doctor clearly told me he don't know about vitamin D toxicity, Ave couldn't help much on what not to eat, so I ask my doctor to refer me to a dietitian, he did, but after sp speaking with the dietitian she said they didn't teach them much about vitamin D toxicity And she knew as much as me, she said give her some time to research for a few days and when she came back she told me she did learn nothing and that they is barely anything about vitamin D toxicity. I writing you cause I have no where to turn cause my levels increased from 329 to 335 2 weeks from my last vitamin D levels test and I don't know why. I have no guidance on what I should eat while allowing the vitamin d levels to go down. So the doctor and dietitian tired me was "try not to eat anything with vitamin D and try to keep my daily calcium intake between 300-400mg. They couldn't suggest what I should be eating as in a menu of some kind. I'm so lost, in my search everything seem to have vitamin D and/or calcium.
