Another great trip Jim those carp were quite distinctive with their orange tails and faces possibly a unique strain to that canal or have you seen them elsewhere?
Cheers Steve 👏🏻 definitely unique to that area of France. I’ve seen the same strain in a couple of the lakes in that region too. The ground around there tends to make the water a turquoise colour which produces those distinctive lovely looking carp 👌🏻🎣

Yes ebike....i made the wheel base wider and swapped out the wheels for 14"wheelbarrow one's, working really good.

No mate, just a bit of bad luck..their mouths are real tough & rubbery due to the crayfish eating. Very rare I get a hook pull 👍🏻🎣
