I think we're all gonna miss her. I know you don't get attached, but u gotta be a little sad to see her go. But it's a new chapter, can't wait to see. Just FYI though, I'd be excited even if u were LS swapping a school bus.
Hey Sloppy or anyone here who knows more than me, I’m looking to turbo my stock Gen 3 5.3 that has been swapped into my 1986 squarebody. Space in the engine bay is practically unlimited, so I was considering doing a twin turbo setup. I simply like the look of the symmetry and also think hot side piping would be a bit easier. However I could also do a bigger single, like the 7875 that is so famed here, but if I did stick with twins, what sizes would be recommended for a street driven 5.3? I want to see about 5-6 psi daily and then 15-16 psi on a high boost setting. I just need help finding a good size for this motor (a/r, compressor sizing, turbine, etc)
Go look at Matt's vid showcasing the red colorado that is owned by his friend. It has smaller twins and runs low and high boost just like you describe. It's a cool truck
*insert the "I want to make 800hp comment" this video shows pretty accurately what these trucks feel like with any amount of boost. The only thing that changes is how fast do you want to blow the tires off from 400-800hp
