Wonderful to think of my late father marching down the steps of the Royal Albert Hall to receive his commission. Such a short time as an officer before God called him home

I was at the Albert Hall too when my Aunt Ivy received her commission - Torchbearer's Session.

My mum and dad were commissioned in Torchbearers too,Leslie and Gladys Hill,i was 2 years old then.

What a pity Ray Bowes didn’t use the Dal Segno, for it has a wonderful ending.
