Hello thearchiebexcperience, when I learned this step (around 1979) it was just a simple movement, I like this combo. Learning different steps for other types of dance some coming from L.A., Chicago, NY, I think that dance steps can be different, like in many foods (Italian) different regions will make the same dish differently. Thanks for the interesting video, and I hope to learn these steps.

Ray Boyd and Kenny J created the dance as a 1 wall. Someone in Chicago change to a 4 wall dance. The dance done elsewhere as a 1 wall dance.

They are jamming this dance in Mobile, Al. It is so high intensity. I can't do it. My feet get in the way but the line dance crew have it going on at every cabaret. They are sweating like hogs going to be slaughtered after they finish.. great work out dance.

Need to add, just watch a video of Mr. Brown, his motions are very fast, with a lot of different step, in your steps I can see the movement that I had learned, but I noticed that you have added more motions, you are teaching these steps, which would need to slow down, James Brown is very fast, it would be hard for me to learn are even know how to take each of his steps, good job on your part.

I thought that movements occurred in pairs. That wasn't correct. There are a couple of moves done five times

At 1:33 is where this hustle goes wrong. There is absolutely NO pauses in between the kicks causing the slides to be off a little. This is the wrong technique, either that or there's a delay with watching the video.

I see this is an old post however, the instructions are wrong. This is not Good Foot.

This is not the dance I created,I have no idea what this is Rays good foot is a 1wall dance with call outs, Sookie, Sloopy, slide, double slide, freeze, wobble, box it, and vogue, I should know I made this dance up.
