- From the Basque Country to Galicia: This is the wilderness of Northern Spain. The Cantabrian mountain range is a habitat for around 140 Cantabrian brown bears, and above the timberline is the Kingdom of the chamois and the colorful wallcreeper.

I love this channel. Thank you!
Another beautiful documentary, mother nature and the circle of life at its best.
Quite a nice documentary. Thanks for sharing that unknown part of Spain with the world.
My rough, green and wild homeland is just at the east of the basque country, the western part of the Pyrinees. As its said in this video, fortunatelly most of the territory remains empty of humans but full of live.
How those guys managed to film the Genets is something Im still asking myself. I'm fond of walking into the mountains as far from civilization as possible. I've seen almost all animals that can be found here, but have never managed to see a genet. We all know they are there but only a few have rarely watch any. They are extremely silent and shy and perfectly camouflaged in the forest nights. Quite a goal taking those shots.
Once again .. thanks ❤
Another hour of chill time...!! And another beauty so many thanks yet again...🔝👍

Thank you so much!
A area of Spain most people definitely don’t see. The romans even had trouble keeping this part under the thumb
Some places required 200 years and others were never controlled.
Wonderful nature, movie... Thx

The text is a bit conventional and doesn’t teach much, but the images are fascinating. Thanks.

It is so cool
What kind of hawks were those?! They were between the corvid and vulture introduction. Fantastic doc!
Not hawks but "milano"(milvus milvus). Albeit they are also predators and hunters they dont mind eating carrion as well.
A real hawk would never try this.
beautiful

My grandfather came to the United States from Cicero, Spain (Northern Spain) in 1920. I need to go back there some day. I want to go see if there is any family still there. My grandfather died 10 years before I was born and everyone else that would've known anything passed away also. I'm sure there r still family there. Great thing is I can claim citenzenship there as Spain grants citenzenship if u had family that lived there.
Fantastic, lovely. Such a shame that the young people don't want to carry on farming here. It would be a great place to live your life and bring up children!
You're right. Its the best place ... blame it on the European Union and their stupid politics.
Paco speaks Galician (similar to Portugese), not Spanish.
Looks like Scotland
Es España
@@pilarnavarro3276 ya lo sé, vivo literalmente en el norte de España. Era una simple comparación.
Scotland is damn cold
@@lenardogorra613 I was talking about the landscape not the weather
@@pedrofr1434 you mean Nova Scotia?
The Capital of Galicia is La Coruna......not Santiago de Compostela....
No, is Santiago
great scenery, really stupid commentary. Who wrote the stupid script and who is the somnambulant voiceover? He is as sleep-inducing as a droning bus diesel on an overly hot bus. Mute might be an option with subtitles.
Beautiful nature.
