    The best deck upgrade video I've seen for this deck so far.
    They all avoid the land theme and this makes it different from the others.

      All the videos I watched on upgrading the deck focused on creature types and not lands.

    Spelunking would also do this deck justice to give those tap lands the ability to come out untapped. Inital draw and extra land drop is great too.

    I think you forgot about the snow lands and the Wastes. So there are 12 different basic land types possible. This makes the domain cards much stronger.

    • @LostPlaneswalker
      @LostPlaneswalker  5 месяцев назад +1

      You are totally right. It should be much stronger. Thank you and I hope you have a great day!

      In fact, there is only 5 basic land types. Wastes is a basic land with no type. Snowis a supertype, not counting as a basic type.
      Domain max ''range'' is 5.

      no they do not. Everything counters are just everything counters they don't do or are anything else without omo

    Question on Reshape the Earth and Scute Swarm: Let's say I have some artifacts and tron lands that let me get to 9 mana early, I only have 4 lands out. When Reshape resolves it puts 10 lands into play, now the total is over the 7 for scute swarm, so does this mean all TEN landfall triggers will make a scute swarm copy or will it still see less then 7 for first 3 triggers and then see 10 for the remaining 7?

    • @kylemartin7871
      @kylemartin7871 2 месяца назад

      They come in at the same time, so by the time you resolve a Scute Swarm trigger, there are at least 6 lands in play to make Scute Swarm copies. Do note though that these new Scute Swarms will not trigger with these lands, since the tokens are created after all the lands entered.

    I had a long discussion with the pod I was playing today, apparently the everything counter on a land doesn't make it ALL basic land types, as the supertype doesn't change (basic land, legendary land, land), hence collective restraint might not work with this commander.
    Maybe a way to counteract this is maybe, if we put the everything counter on an actual basic land? Maybe that'll work.
    Yes. I'm as sad as you are :(

    • @nigelvanlaethem3860
      @nigelvanlaethem3860 5 месяцев назад

      Omo's second ability grants every land type to lands with everything counters on them, not just basic land types. The full list of land types can be found in the Comprehensive Rules of Magic

    • @BenHume55rr
      @BenHume55rr 5 месяцев назад

      I believe it works on any land. Only because everything counters grant any lands all basic land types, so forest, mountain, plains, etc. "Each basic land type among lands you control" Well, if a nonbasic land is a mountain, then it has a basic land type.

    • @TheLuckySpades
      @TheLuckySpades 5 месяцев назад +1

      According to the CR the basic land types are plains, island, swamp, mountain and forest, so it does work
      For a similar cards: Thran Portal calls for you to choose a basic land type as it enters, and it becomes that type, but it isn't basic and leyline binding also checks for basic land types and triomes work with that (else competitive domain ddcks wouldn't work)

    • @F0bR0ckz
      @F0bR0ckz 5 месяцев назад

      @@TheLuckySpades Man this is where it gets a bit confusing, because there was much discussion of the Supertype vs the type
      Land / Legendary / Snow-Land / Basic-Land falls under the supertype and the types of lands are Gates, forest, plains etc.
      TBH I am all for the basic land thingy to work because that would be amazing of course!

    • @TheLuckySpades
      @TheLuckySpades 5 месяцев назад

      @@F0bR0ckz if a card says "basic land card" or cares about "basic lands" or "basic [landtype]" it has to be a basic plains, island, swamp, mountain, forest or wastes (for an example of the last kind of clause consider Cabal Stronghold)
      If a card cares about "basic land types" (e.g. domain or the search part of Boseiju) then all it cares is that the types are on the land, so triomes, bicycle and shock lands count
      If a card only mentions the basic land type but doesn't specify basic (e.g. Farseek, Three Visits, Krosan Verge,...) you also only care about the land type and it doesn't need to be basic

    Went up against this deck last night and I'm pretty sure dude playing it was cheating guy had a card that untapped his stuff during every upkeep but he would respond to a spell with an entire turn then untapped all of his permanents then would respond this way for EVERY spell that was casted and even on end steps
