looking underneath i was like man this is a well maintained car and then mr clowney said this is my car , makes perfect sense.
Lol thanks!
Ughhh! i just replaced my seal on a 63 thunderbird and it leaks worse than before. i guess i'm doing it again with ultra grey. This shouldn't be necessary. I think it had the original seal in it or it had a very old one made out of some heavier gauge steel than these flimsy aftermarket ones.
Yep..ultra grey should work great! Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe 😉
@@klowny1969 It worked, hasn't leaked after several long drives.
Nice fix! Well done!
Thank u sir!
@@klowny1969 personally I like the shocker installation method. I use it on your sister...
this mercury is a beast
Thank you
Great info,thank you!
What part of Long Island do you work out of?
I’m upstate now but might need some help with a build.
You have a shop??
Another great video
Thank you
Why don't you use the axle flange gasket?
is that even necessary with a sealed bearing?
@@mooosestang I don't know. They offer them for a reason so I would guess so. If you have bad venting or overfill your 3rd member sometimes that shit will spray out the axles when shit gets hot - so I know there is a way for some gear oil to get passed it.
What part of NY are you located?
Long island
I use Optimum Grey (AKA Max Torque and High Temperature), its stronger then the Ultra.
