Well it’s also because no one knows them they aren’t really sleeping on them but simply just not knowing them. They don’t promote in korea as much as they do overseas. There’s dozens of kpop groups that korea doesn’t know which is completely normal
I can see why their genre is very different and not everyone favors that type of music, also they lack stage presence and dance in my opinion but it works for them as their music is very care free and fun so I don’t really see the problem also they’re music never changes it’s always like the same sound and it gets old for some. So I see why normal Kpop stans don’t really pay them any attention they’re used to that manufactured perfect dance and everything in sync feel.
