I'm playing wuwa on my laptop and my phone (s21 ultra). Man, the optimisation is so freaking good. My phone is old and was heating up badly when wuwa was first released. Now, it's not as hot. I'm so surprised.
I believe that this game's strongest hook is the combat. Considering how gatcha in general doesn't really produce a friendly medium for storytelling and exploration in wuwa feels, to me at least, a bit lackluster, that they should really focus on combat as a main aspect for content. I would like to see more bosses and content revolving around the mastering of combat mechanics. I think that at least like 1 unique boss per patch with unique movesets and or gamemodes that would implement any sort of different strategy for combat rotation or input efficiency would benefit the game a lot more than revising an already not incredible story, at least compared to what i feel genshin has done with its world building. Also, penacony was shit so going in that direction is not a good idea.
Cool animation and visuals, nice touch of technologies features, some character design is good enough to be considered as beautiful, batch of new characters in most updates but what it lacking is a refined lore along character story to let players know more about the game they love so does the character about where did they come from and what role are they really is . That's my opinion about this game, still have so much potentials to kick start it also not to be narrow but I feel like Wuwa is staying in their comfort zone and it could only mean the game won't grow like what people expected it could or should be . Of course I'll never compare this game to others as each games have their own way but I DO hope that Wuwa get out of their shell and be more open about the lore, don't repeat it or just make it slightly similar to what already used, a game always need a good, well leading lore or it will only for look without it . I like Wuwa too but have to be honest if it come to constructive grow opinion and we cannot sugar coat it for too long, can we ?
I personally feel like wuthering waves, despite its current popularity, is missing a very vibrant fanbase. I personally feel like female fans usually produce more fan content and art, maybe the game doesn’t have many? Or this combined with the less popular story caused a relative drought in broader popularity/discussion. It’s been one of the more negative parts of the game to me despite not having much to do with the game itself. I quite like interacting with others be it in coop (which has also been a bit boring thus far) or outside the game. The other one is the lack of male characters and clothing without holes for me 💀
thats true i think the community is there but like its mainly a combination of like other gacha games its not like its own thing yet which i feel holds wuwa back. Like if we look at Kuro's other game PGR the community there is quite vibrant even thought its small whilst Wuwa is still kinda like eh. valid take 👍
@ I hope the improvements will give it an actual, dedicated fanbase. Story development and worldbuilding especially will be integral, I do think Rinascita promises to deliver in this regard. Thus far, the story hasn’t been much. It’s not jarring or bad, but sort of boring, which is possibly even worse. Some sort of impression has to be made for people to stick to it and create things about it, apathy brings absolutely nothing. (edit: character development is also necessary, a lot of concepts are cool but they’re not given much time to explore any possible depth. Jinhsi is probably my favourite in this regard as her personal struggles and conflicts were shown the best in the mt. firmament story, it made me like her despite nor caring for her at all before, and this is what all the characters need.)
@@zitzak2794 true jinshis story was pretty good and i could understand where they wanted to go with some characters (like Zheshi and her social anxiety) but it wasnt nearly as well put together and interesting
@ I think a part of the problem is that a lot of the character work is delegated to specific events or character quests, so we don’t get the chance to get attached to them anywhere else. Just having them show up here and there in main- and sidequests would do a lot to make them more engaging. Basically everything about yinlin, for example, happened in her character quest and she has barely done anything since (besides a few appearances in the dream events). My guy Calcium hasn’t appeared at all…
I haven't tried WuWa out because I didn't like any of the characters designs. call it nitpicky but it feels half the current playable character roster has black and/or white in the character design. And it gets boring after a while. And then there's Camellya and Shorekeeper. What the hell are they wearing?!
Well done video. You deserve way more views!
thanks appreciate it ❤
