Very self consciously posting my very first youtube video! I could write a book about everything gone wrong and everything still bad, but you have to start somewhere... This is me starting. Cool video! And interesting to view photography through a lens of anthropology. I’m afraid that most everyday cameras present itself in the realm of 35mm. It’s plausible, given your affection for medium format, that you’d be interested in let’s a Yashica Electro 35GX as an everyday carry. If you pair it with certain films they rival medium format in quality. The Yashinon lenses are amazing and posses a very lucid charm. Love the videos! The have a very lovely ASMR excitement. Try to not worry about mistakes. We all make them. After all, it’s what makes us human. Hopefully you’ll make more video!

I know! I was pulling *all* my hair trying to recover what could be in post, it was pretty painful to the ears (and to the hair)! Tried dusting off my Tascam for the second one but haven’t been brave enough to check the footage yet. 🐓 Crossing fingers!
This one is a great camera, but definitely not your everyday film camera. Much to cumbersome and complicated, and the rangefinder and the viewer are just to small. Maybe you could do a video about what your everyday film camera should provide.
