- This storm woke me up so i decided to take some video - I'm half asleep so please excuse the poor filming! This is the first big storm that we've had in London this year - lots of lightning, heavy rain but not so much thunder.

The pattering of the rain along with the dulcet tones of your voice are deliciously lulling.
I'm in Edmonton, North London and this was an amazing storm. I was awake before it started around 4am as I'd been tracking it on the lightning app from late evening as it came across the channel from France. If I know there's a storm coming I can't sleep. Love your storm videos.

I live on the South East Coast, We had the continuous lightning and rumbles of thunder, but had no rain, l do thank you for videoing it as l do like to watch your video of the storms😊

Watched this coming up from the Channel on my lightning tracker app. Here in Hatfield, Hertfordshire we missed the worse of the storm but still plenty of lightning and a fair amount of thunder.
Unfortunately I wasn’t brave enough to watch the storm on my own the whole time. Used to get my Mum to watch them with me…but sadly she died nearly 5 weeks ago.
I didn't know there was an app to watch a storm.

That was crazy last night, I hardly slept, it was practically all night. I was up until 3am working but by that time it was more over us so I didn't end up falling asleep until somewhere after 6.

Hi guys. I left for work very early this morning so missed it all. I have a friend in Pimlico who texted me this morning while i was at work, she said it started around 4.30 am, plenty of lightning and the thunder woke her up. I cant believe i didn't hear anything but a few hours later i was walking around site and it had been pouring so i missed all the action! 😕
The thunder the other side of Heathrow during the storm you were watching was loud enough to shake the whole house. Hate it when you can see the flashes of lightening through closed eyelids ⛈⛈⛈⛈
Here in Hatfield, Hertfordshire the thunder wasn’t overly loud. But just 12 miles down the A1M in Barnet my Nan said the thunder was like a bomb going off. It was the talk of the shoppers in Borehamwood B&M that morning, I was in there getting some bits and it was all the ladies on the checkouts could talk about.
That was the last time we had lightning in London and Essex it is now 1st September!

Yesterday and today have been quite sunny apart from the cool breeze on the Lincolnshire coast.
Hopefully no thunderstorms 😬

In de nacht van zondag op maandag om 05.15 hadden wij een ongeloofelijke harde onweer enhagelen regen!de bliksem sloeg 2x in .waarschijnlijk in een boom vlakbij! De kat was erg bang -X ik woon in Nederland/zuid holland en voor vandaag donderdag word alweer storm verwacht met harde windvlagen en onweer, ik ben er bang van ! Maar vind t voor mijn kat erger. Arm dier! Groeten uit nederland! love you guys❤
Amazing footage. Thankfully, we didn’t have any problems our way with thunder or lightning. Hope all is ok now.
